YoHo, YoHo, A Mother's Day Trip to the Mouse!

Poor Lizzie, I hope she is feeling better soon!

The Hidden Mickeys are too cute! What a great idea, I may have to steal it!! I gave Emily some m&m's the other day and they just happened to form a Mickey on the table and she was so excited!!

Yeah, we love coloring Easter Eggs every year. On thursday nights when I work the girls sleep at my Mom's house, and they are going to be coloring more eggs over there.

We are having so much fun with the Hidden Mickey's, I'm going to cut out some more too. I'm even having fun hiding them! I told Manny that if he finds one he can play along too!

Yeah, bouncycat, I love my camera too, I think it's great. i've been taking pictures since I bought it. I thought it was funny too that you had just bought the same one.
I was telling Manny that we were going to meet up with another diser, he just goes along with all of my craziest when it pertains to Disney, and I told him your son was close to Anthony's age. I'll tell Anthony when he comes over this weekend. He'll be excited!

Ok, we're off to the Dr.'s , Hopefully all is well. Lizzie is just moping around today:confused3 The girls were all in Lizzie's room earlier and they were playing their kidzbop cd and jumping around like little animals that they are, and poor Lizzie was curled up on her bed laying on her stuffed pig:sick: I made them get out of her room, like they have no consideration for their poor sick sister.:lmao:

We're back from the Dr.'s all went well. She said that what Lizzie has going on is exactly what's been going around, she said there have been so many kids in her office with a fever, and a cough.
So, we're going to get all ready to go to her performance later, and hopefully she'll feel better. She has not had a fever since yesterday when I picked her up from school at 3pm. She really wants to go, so she'll be very upset if we don't. I'm sure we'll go, she already looks better than she did earlier this morning, and she's starting to drive me

I'll post pictures of her singing on stage later on tonight, she's so excited!!

ONLY 34 DAYS UNTIL WE GO TO DISNEY WORLD!!!!! WOO HOO!!!!

My sister in laws are leaving tonight:woohoo: I can't wait until they get back to look at their pictures and hear all about it from my niece and nephew. Well, My niece has been a few times before but this is my 5 yr old nephews first time. He is sitting in school right now, he must be bouncing off the walls.

I love the Hidden Mickey idea!!! I have these Mickey heads all over my house because each day we remove one from our countdown calendar.... hmmm... I think I know what i am going to do with them now!!!!!

Lizzie- Good Luck tonight!!!!!!!

Thanks for the get well and good luck wishes for Lizzie!!! She just got out of the shower and is getting excited to go!
I just called my nephew to tell him that I loved him and to have fun. I gotta call my niece next. Sean is SO super excited right now, he just kept rambling on and telling me everything that was going on at the house. He said "my Mom is putting more things in the suitcase(sounds like me, 1 hr before leaving we're still stuffing the suitcase), I went to get my haircut, we're waiting for Kaitlyn, we're going to the airport, i'm a little scared of the plane...He just kept going. My SIL was telling me that he threw up last night, so she was so worried about him getting sick. But luckily today he was fine.

And I just called my other SIL and niece Katelyn , they are getting ready to go to!!! I told her i'd call her half way through the week and see what they were up to! Little Lex was taking dramamine, because she gets car sick.

I cannot wait until we're getting ready to leave!!!!!!

Ok so there are no pictures from last night because we did not go! Lizzie fell asleep on the couch around 4:00. Everyone else was ready, so I figured i'd let her nap for about an hour then get her up to go. Well I woke her up and she looked terrible, I said do you want to go to your performance now. And she said NO! So I felt her head and the fever was back:headache: So, more tylenol and back to sleep!
I had gotten "CARS" in the mail through Netflix so we had a CARS night, I set up the Beach towel, and are little Cars guys that talk and we made Traffic lights for snack. Emily ended up starting the movie again after it ended and we all fell asleep in the parlor. Of course I layed down blankets first!

Here's our little setup

WE'RE AT 33 DAYS OUT TODAY, MAYBE I'LL GET THOSE DOCUMENTS IN THE MAIL TODAY, SO FAR I ONLY GOT THE ME TAGS!!! AND ALTHOUGH THAT EXCITED ME, IT'S NOT ENOUGH, I WANT MORE!!!!

My nieces and nephew are waking up at the All Star Sports about now. Their plane didn't land until 10:30pm, so by the time they got to sleep i'm assuming they slept in a little, or I could be wrong and Sean was waking everyone at 6:00am!! I change my mind, i'll go with that one:goodvibes

oh we are doing Cars tomorrow for Disney Night! I love your little traffic lights. Poor Lizzie- no show and her cheeks are all flushed in the pic- she does look sick:-(

Cute Disney night! I love the stop lights!

Bummer about the performance, but Lizzie does look a little flush in the picture. Poor little jelly bean!! I hope she feels better soon!:flower3:

I hope Lizzie is all better today. I love the little stop lights, they are too cute.

Thank you, she's home again today of course, her cough sounds horrible, Emily is also coughing this morning. She still doesn't feel well, but at least she's awake today!

Ok, so we all just did some packing, It was so much fun. I know there are still 33 days left to go, but we are packing shorts, tank tops, bathing suits and flip flops. We sure aren't going to be using those here anytime before we go. So I packed it all up. Emily sat with her list and wrote down how many outfits, pajama sets and flip flops went into the suitcase for each person. The last time we traveled I made the mistake of packing early and not writing anything down of course ( I did not know about the DIS at the time) and had to unpack it all about 10 times because I had no idea what was in there!!!
So I now have a detailed list of what still needs to go into the suitcase, and what I need to buy.
Samantha is walking around right now in a little summer dress and her flip flops, she is so excited!
While at it, feeling all organized I made a complete list of everything that needed to be packed, even what was going in the carryons!! I feel so much better. I was starting to feel unorganized, and I didn't like it at all.
Now I just need to type and print out my daily plans and where we're going to be eating. I think i'll do that tomorrow!
Oh, I also made a to do list of everything that needed to be done before we go! I liked making that list, that one made our vacation feel a lot closer!!!
I wonder what my nieces and nephew are doing right now:rolleyes:

Ok , so while making this to do list, I though of something. My kids have been saving their money since we booked the trip in January, right now they each have a little over $30.00. My Dad and Grandmother said they are going to give them spending money too. So i'm guessing they'll have a little over $100.00 each. How on earth do you travel with all of that cash. Should I transfer it to a Disney gift card, has anyone done that before? Or Disney Dollars(are those still around) I do have a Disney Store nearby! I just don't know how they or I will carry it. I know I can leave some behind in the room, but I don't really feel comfortable with that! So what do you think?

This is what we did for our boys' spending money for our 2007 trip. Each person on the ressie gets a Key to the World Card. You can add charging privileges to those...individual ones or all, whatever you choose. We took all their cash and put it on our "account" at the resort. (It all goes on one account so you can't put different amounts on each card. ) Then we put charging privileges on only the kids' cards. They could use them at all the shops just like a charge card and the balance would be deducted from the cash you put on the account. I had to keep track of individual spending cause it's all on one account, but I just did that each night and let the kids know how much $ each of them had left. It worked so well. :thumbsup2:thumbsup2 The boys did not have to carry cash in the parks and they loved feeling "grown-up" and charging their purchases. You can also get back any cash that is left at the end of the vacation when you check out.

Jeff and I just carried a small amount of cash for ourselves and then left the rest in the safe in the room. Be sure to take the key with you...don't leave it in the room somewhere. :goodvibes

I would get each of them a Disney Gift Card so they don't have to carry cash. If they have different styles, you could get each kid a different card so they know which was which or you could write their names on them. I think a gift card would be easier to carry around than Disney dollars too (if they still make them?)

They still do have Disney $$-got them at my local Disney Store. Think we will do a combo of a gift card and the dollars. Avery is very excited to buy things herself.

I'm getting so excited for you... you started packing!!! Okay, I'm a little jealous too, I have SUCH a long time it feels. :-)

Hope Lizzie is on the mend soon, still sounds like ya'll made a really fun night out of it.

Is everybody all better? I sure hope so. I am not going to buy Easter baskets this year, yes I still get baskets for Amanda and Tyler too ;). I am going to get them each a $25 Disney gift card and for Amanda and Tyler's birthday I am giving them $50 dollar prepaid Visa cards. They can spend them anyway they want, any where. I promised Dallas I would give him $100 for Disney and he wants some Disney dollars so I will give him $25 Disney dollars and then the rest on a prepaid Visa. I figure if he loses that we can get our money back.

That's a good idea, I've been wondering what to do for my Tyler for May, we're trying to give him $100 for his birthday too...and was just wondering what kind of media to put it on. He wants his own wallet, which I'm skeptical, but I'll probably get him one, but he's NOT holding his military ID!!! Which is what he wants to do....I just can't lose that thing! LOL
