yoga pants/ leggings

do you think they are appropriate?

at my school yoga pants are a main part of most girls wardrobe. also, leggings are worn VERY often and no, not under a skirt. by themselves.


had this fad been going around your area too?

i wear yoga pants & leggings A LOT but, they are getting banned from my school soon.

i wear yoga pants alot, cause they're comfy.

I might wear tights (not leggings, not my thing) by themselves but the shirt or sweater has to be longer than my butt.
I don't think leggings or tights are very flattering on a girls butt. Just saying.

It's so ridiculous, we can't wear sweatpants to school, but we can wear almost see through things that aren't actually pants? Come on, at least sweatpants cover girls.
We can also wear yoga pants, which in my mind is just as informal as sweatpants.

i think it looks pretty bad when someone tries to pass off leggings as pants.

yoga pants are fine though.

but i see girls with leggings and tank tops that don't cover their butt. thats like wearing tights and nothing else.

i kinda love the leggings/yoga pants cuz i HATE wearing damn jeans!!
i usually wear leggings with a longer shirt that covers my crotch, girl who wear leggings with a regular shirt usually suffer embarrassing consequences if ya know what i mean ladies.

i LOVE leggings because i love loose fitting longer shirts oh so much. they are super comfy i adore them. with yoga pants i'll wear whatever top though.
and i personally HATE the leggings under a skirt look, tights under a skirt YES, but i've come to the point where i prefer leggings as pants to wear under a longer top.

that's ridic that they're getting banned from your school!! i'm so glad i'm not in HS anymore, i can wear whatever the heck i feel like to school. (which is usually yoga pants or leggings)

yeah, exactly. as long as your crotch/butt is covered, i think its fine.

Yoga pants, I'm fine with. Just leggings, I find weird unless you're wearing a longer shirt. Some girl in my class wore a shirt that went to about her thighs and leggings. I thought it was fine, but just wearing like t-shirts and leggings, I think looks ridiculous.

Yeah, I don't like when girls wear leggings with shirts that don't cover their butt, it looks weird and unflattering...Girls at my school do this ALL the time and they think they're SUPER cool and look gorgeous. (not)

But I wear tights with just about anything, because those are so comfy- not to school, but when I go out, with a skirt or a dress.

i agree.
it's kind of gross when you see their entire butt. leggings are supposed to be worn with LONG SHIRTS! jeez. cover yourselves up!

No one in my school does, they only wear leggings under skirts. But I know a lot of girls in the high school wear them.

i like the leggings with a long top thing. or witha skirt or dress. but not with a normal top. girls here lie to wear leggins that are made to look like jeans. they have been dubbed "denim tights" and people wear them as jens. its not a flattering look on anyone.

i dont wear yoga pants because i dont think they look good on me.

but a big trend here is harem pants.

Usually i wear them with shirts that go below the butt, but sometimes i do wear them with just normal shirts

these are my FAVORITE leggings ever, i wear them allll the time. they're shiny leggings from american apparel.
they're so cute and stylish, and yet really comfy!


yoga pants, not so much. i wear them around the house, but i dont think i'd wear them outside! idk, they don't really flatter me. i prefer sweats for lazy days (or leggings! )

I personally don't like the leggings&long shirt look, but I'm okay with others wearing it. I'd prefer to have a skirt on over the leggings though.

I wear yoga pants around the house all the time, but I don't wear them to school.

Once I wore leggings with a really long tank top. But that was like a year ago.
I don't really know what girls wear these days because my school has uniforms.
But last year my friend (who is possibly the biggest skank ever ;D) would wear like white leggings with a shirt that exposed part of her stomach. I would always tell her how ridiculous it looked, but she didnt care.
