I am just curious if anyone knows if they offer yoga classes on the ship?? I will be on the August repo cruise and I though they might have something like this on the longer sailings. I know they didn't on the 4 day cruise that I went on a couple of years ago.

We did 7 day Eastern a couple of months ago and they had yoga on board on 3 different mornings and also on the island. I would assume on the 14 day they would have something similar. My wife really enjoyed it, classes were small and I think she taught the instructor some things.

I did a couple of yoga classes on the Magic Western in March. There were probably about five different classes -- a couple of open air ones, including one on Castaway Cay.

I thought they were okay -- they are on a very beginner level. I like my class at home better. It was kind of a different feeling to do yoga with the movement of the ship.

Be sure you go to the spa as soon as you board to sign up for the classes. They fill up immediately. You can still show up at the time of the class and hope to walk in, but you're better off to sign up in advance.

Is there any age limit for the Yoga classes? Like the general spa? My 16 yr old would love to take a class.

It would be the same as the spa, which I believe is 18. Sorry.

Hey Belle 2002

I am going to be on the August repo cruise as well. Yes they do have yoga onboard, but like said earlier it is at a very beginner level. The instructors let you do variations if you know them though, so you can go deeper into certain postures. I take about 11 yoga classes a week here in NY and the one thing that I am nervous about going on this totally fabulous 14 night cruise is that I will not be able to practice my Bikram Yoga for two weeks. I am planning to do a few self practices in the aerobics room when there are not any other classes going on, so hopefully that will be sufficient for me. I will be at every early morning yoga class they offer on the ship though. yoga is yoga...you just gotta keep doing it!

Thanks everyone for all the info, I don't know what I would do for 2 weeks without my yoga!!
