Wow, we must be really out of useless info. Nothing since 10:00 last night??

We've been busy today. We went out for breakfast, then went to Wal-Mart, then came home and installed a toilet and two outdoor light fixtures. (I hope I never have to install another toilet. That is the nastiest job, blech!!!)

Man, I think installing toilets is what I was bred to do. I got that job down.

I rode my scooter a lot, cleaned my son's rat's cage, went to the bank, paid a bunch of bills online, paid a bunch of taxes, argued with my daughter - all in all, a typical day.

Nicole, I'm glad Jim's surgery went well! I've been thinking of you guys!

Deb, you have the BEST recaps! I think we need a recap from you once a week! ;) ::yes::

It was a good weekend for us. After a long week of work, dh and I stayed up way to late on Friday having way too many beers. Saturday morning was recovery time and then we went "window shopping" for grills all Saturday afternoon (for dh's Father's Day present). We did some research on the grills that we liked Saturday evening. I'm really glad that we did that...one of our favorites had tons of bad reveiws! This morning the girls and I made breakfast for dh. Then we went to purchase the Fathers Day present. Dh spent the afternoon putting it together. Then tonight, he cooked *us* dinner on it, ha.

Hope everyone had a great weekend! Happy Father's Day to all of the Dad's out there!!

We need more useless chit chat to justify a recap. Where the heck is everyone??? Drinking beer?? Kungaloosh?? Enjoying nice summer weather?? This is the time of year Floridians stay INSIDE their homes. It's just too danged hot outside. When northerner's say they could never live in Florida in the summer because it's too hot, I give them the deer in the headlights look. Hot? Oh, it's not hot. We actually have air conditioned homes, cars, stores, everything! And guess what??? I don't need to wear some big bulky coat to get from one to the other... or boots, gloves, scarves, hats, snow tires, storm windows, etc....When you live in Florida, you just reverse your thinking. Inside in the summer, outside in the winter.... instead of vice versa.

I make one and only one post per day on the camping board.:thumbsup2

Thats why you should always call your local plumber :thumbsup2 .

We had an interesting weekend. The first swim meet of the summer was Saturday. My son decided competing was the "coolest thing" he's ever done. Great, now he's got the bug. My daughter, who isn't much of a competitor just needs to shave 3 seconds off her time in one event and she'll qualify for the State meet. If she does that, it's off to San Antonio for us! I think the winning bug may be nibbling a little slower on her, I caught her practicing in the lap pool at the rec center today instead of playing on the slides.

Father's Day was good, DH got a new super duper camp chair complete with side table.

We popped up the camper to test the AC (it got up to 100 degrees today). We're a little worried it won't hold up under Florida's August heat for two weeks. We could only get it down to 85 degrees inside the camper today. Gotta do better than that!

That's funny! In the winter when the southern states get a couple of inches of snow and close everything down we giggle...then last week here in upstate NY we hit 97 degrees with high humidity and schools and events were closed because of heat! Alot of schools don't have air conditioning here and we don't know how to deal in the heat!

Man....this MEDOSOU guys gonna get the warning of HIS LIFE!!!!!!!!

First post, something like that, probably banned right off the bat

Our local plumber guy is in jail, seems while he was fixing your toilet he was helping himself to peoples medicine chests and stealing their prescriptions. :confused3 Like no one would notice.

I wonder what kind of thrill they get from posting that kind of junk? :confused3

Thanks Scott.

Boy it's dead here. Everyone must be in a summer mode. The next few days here though will be 15-20 degrees below normal! Yuck.

At least we don't have the flooding the poor people in the Midwest have!

Hi all! I'm at the north landing beach campground-STUCK! The fuel pump went out on the truck and I'm being viciously attacked by biting flys. It IS a nice campground, though. Plus our camping companions have gone... Which is a good thing because one of them was verging on being viciously attacked by ME! This is the 5th trip we've taken with these people and we always say this will be the last! Anyway, I don't mean to whine. Life is all good! I,m lurking at you people from hubby's blackberry. Nifty little device. But hard to navigate. Hope you all are well. I'll try to read back a couple pages and see if deb did a recap.
OH! I found a rubber sock for annalise!
