Yo Ho, Yo Ho, A Pirate's Life for Three... C 32, P 39 - The End...Or Is It?

Great update! I love, love, love your message on your menu -- so darling! I am just thrilled that DS sat through the meal and enjoyed playing with his new Buzz car. A shame about DH's portion -- did he snack later on?

Just had to add that we had a CR-V before the van -- I loved that car -- just an awesome car for our family.

What a great update! A little bribery never hurts anyone.

I can't believe your DH asked how much it cost too! Men. PFFFFFT!

Your menu message to the boys was so sweet! I'm glad that you got to enjoy a peaceful dinner after the afternoon that you had.

I love that you write so well I can picture it in my head. You are a great writer. :thumbsup2 Looking forward to more. popcorn:: popcorn:: popcorn::

We had a lot of fun with the cars. We made a "garage" out our napkins, and when it was time to eat, we parked the cars in the "garage." :lmao:

I think he did have something later that night...I'll have to check my notes!

Okay, this is totally off topic, but while DS was in preschool, I went and looked at the CR-V. OMG, I'm in love!!!

So typical, right?

It was a nice dinner. Much better than I expected. I was still expecting meltdowns, and there weren't any. Thank goodness!

Oh, thank you so much for the compliment. Often when I'm writing I wonder if it's too much, but that comment makes me feel like I'm doing okay! :thumbsup2

I love to read. When I was a little girl my dm, db, and I use to walk 1 1/2 miles one way to the library in our little town every week in the summer to check out more books. So when good writers tell stories I can picture the sights and so on. Wow I went of on a little ramble there didn't I? I wrote all that to say keep up with the good work. Sorry for the rambling.

Ramble away!!! I love to read too. I was read to a lot as a child, one year I even won the reading contest at the library. It was based on how many books you took out over the summer. I'm glad I'm bringing back a happy memory for you...and me too, apparently! :goodvibes

And you did say recently that you needed to buy a new car, right?

Temptress, I know thy name!!!! :lmao:

Yes, we'll be in the market soon. I know DH's car will die eventually. But it's stubborn. It senses that I want a new car. Feisty little Nissan.;)

First off, LOVE the shout-out to some of my favorite childhood toys :thumbsup2

...Barbie Dolls, and Cabbage Patch Kids, and I loved Strawberry Shortcake and Rainbow Bright.

I decided, therefore, that bribery was in order.

Good call!!

Oh yes, I'll admit that I booked bounceback.
:cool1:  :yay:

...However, I refuse to disclose where. I must get my kicks somehow. ;)
:headache:

Send one member (or two) of your party to the bathroom, and the pager goes off, my friends.

Good tip! ;)

DH really liked the custom menu.

I'm so glad. What a beautiful message you wrote and what a great keepsake you'll have... and for FREE!!

I love mahi-mahi so I may have to check this out!

Up next - How many Cast Members does it take....

Argh! The cliff hanger foils me again!

The Honda is pretty good on gas, too. ;)

Is it really? That's one of my biggest concerns. I mean, I have a little 4 door sedan, you know what I mean? And I get really good gas mileage. I know this wouldn't be as good, obviously, but I just would love something with more room. My car is small.

Happy to bring back the way back. :thumbsup2 Wait, did I say the way back? We're not that old are we?

I love mahi-mahi so I may have to check this out!

And you know what? I'm really not savvy on the various types of fish. I mean, I know what I like, but I have to say, this was fantastic! Very, very good.

Argh! The cliff hanger foils me again!

Mwa-ha-ha! :rolleyes1

It really did -- for a compact SUV. If I remember correctly it got about 250/275 miles out of 10 gallons -- in-town driving. I just cannot say enough wonderful things about our CR-V -- we had it for five years, and it never gave us any trouble.

Yes I was read to alot as a child too. My mom read the whole Little House on The Prarie books to my brother and I when we were little. We also didn't have a tv for about 2 years I think that helped. Bith my db and I have told my mom that it was great gift she gave us when she taught us to read books. I am trying to pass on the gift of reading to my dd too.

I also have great things to say about Hondas. We have a Civic. I love it it get really good gas mileage anf we have never had any problems with it. We have had ours for almost 6 years now and the only thing we have had to do is replace the rear brakes. I think our next car will proably be a CR-V or an Odessy. I know it will be Honda, but the question is which one.

Honestly, I could have easily called this trip report, how many ways did TK's DH spoil her in the World...but I liked A Pirate's Life for Three better.

And it's shorter. ::yes::

And thank you. I am a lucky gal. Love the typo! Almost as good as the Princess Bridge. ;)

You're a gas! A gas who loves the Princess Bridge! :rotfl:

And now we know the secret to dining with my nugget. Signature restaurants.

The boy's got expensive tastes. He takes after his Auntie Tink.

There's an aftertaste?

Oh.
MY.
LORD!!!
Yes.

I must be weird.

Too easy. ;)

Did I fall asleep on a bench in Epcot?

Does ZZUB pass out in a nook in the WL lobby?

I was going to fall asleep.

In public.

I mean, who does that?:rolleyes1

Seriously.
Dude.

Anyone want to chime in and shout out what's in Mouse Gears?

My tea ball?

Oh yes, C-A-N-D-Y.

Oh. That too.

basically we coaxed him into it by telling him he could bring the Buzz car. I know. The complicated world of boy.:lmao:

So, do you think I can coax BF to the World next year simply with a Buzz Lightyear shaped racer?

"Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for three...

DH and DS,
Thank you so much for showing me
what an adventure life can be
through all the things that we do
the best treasure in my world is you.

Love,
TK"

Awwww. :goodvibes

Yay for the updates.

Thanks for the good review. Now I just have to convince DH.:lmao:

I was getting all teary eyed over what you wrote in their menus!

Aww, shucks.

That's so wonderful. I was taught a lot of nursery rhymes, and read to a lot as child, and I really feel it makes a difference.

I also have great things to say about Hondas. We have a Civic. I love it it get really good gas mileage anf we have never had any problems with it. Thanks! I just know that with a compact SUV, they're a bit pricier than what I'm used to, and I want something that's going to last, like a Honda.

And it's shorter. ::yes::

Well, that too.

You're a gas! A gas who loves the Princess Bridge! :rotfl:

I am a GAS!!! :rotfl2:

The boy's got expensive tastes. He takes after his Auntie Tink.

It's genetic.

Does ZZUB pass out in a nook in the WL lobby?

Rhetorical.

So, do you think I can coax BF to the World next year simply with a Buzz Lightyear shaped racer?

Honestly, if that's all it'd take, mom and nana will be down in the World in a couple of weeks. I can easily get them to purchase one. I mean, seriously. I'll present to your BF myself.:thumbsup2

Awwww. :goodvibes

Yay for the updates.

Glad you enjoyed!

I love this trip report. I really love how you write it. I feel like I was there!
Can't wait for more!

(BTW we have the CR-V.. and we love it. It has awesome mileage)

Another satisfied CR-V owner. I think I'm going to have to take all your comments and cut and paste them into a word doc for my husband! :lmao:
