Just found out on fathers day that my stepson and his longtime girlfriend are expecting....they don't live far and unfortunately things are financially tight for them, so I'm hoping they will want us to help them out with the baby. DH is 49 and I am 40...I'm glad we will get to be "young" grandparents. They are such a nice looking couple, I just know the baby will be absolutely adorable! Just wanted to share!

I made my DM and DF grandparents at 40 and 43 respectively. And was very fortunate that they were always and still are there to help. My oldest will be 10 this year and she loves nothing more than to spend time with Grammy and Papa.
