Yippee!!

My husband, dd myself and his entire extended family went to WDW then on the 3 night Disney Cruise last May. It was so wonderful that we all go on how it would be outrageous to go on the 7 night cruise.
Well, my MIL just confided in me that she has already booked the 7 day Eastern Disney cruise for May, for the entire family!! She wants to present it to everyone on Christmas, but the suspense of not sharing was KILLING her, and she wants help surprising everyone else. I AM SO PSYCHED!! She bought on ebay the stuffed cruise ship with stuffed Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy in it. She was going to wrap it up for the kids to open, but she is coming up short of a great way to surprise the other adults.. (My dh and I, my BIL and SIL, and my other single BIL). My only brainstorm was to white out the prices on the confirmation, with all the info on it and give it out in envelopes.
Does anyone have any good ideas??? I would love to hear it to share! I still don't know how I am going to act surprised, LOL

I would also love to hear the differences anyone found between the 3/4 night to the 7 night?
I still can't believe she is paying for all this, we will have to pay only for our onboard purchases.
Did I mention how excited I am?

she should go and get some teeshirts made with a Disney picture, the date youns are going and family name on them. Give those gifts LAST Christmas morning to everyone, they'll open them and Voila!!
I seen in the Disney catalog where they have teeshirts offered like that, like now they have Christmas in there, but you wouldn't want Christmas, maybe she can go to a screenprint shop and have something made up...'springy' ~ just a thought.

Go to technical support. They will have a thread that says, Get Your countdowns here. Then just follow the directions. It took me a while to get the hang of it..hence my tag.

We will have a great time..thanks! I've been planning this trip for a long time. THis is all of our first time at WDW..my kids first cruise.

Tink - how about mini-photo albums for each of the adults...you know the ones that hold 4x6 pics and have a cover that you can slide in a "special picture"? Then, go online and print out a great pic of the magic, and slide it in the front cover. Then when they open it - the first 4 x 6 sleeve could say something like - Fill with your own memories from our 7-day Eastern Caribbean Cruise on the Disney Magic in May!! Merry Christmas!!

Just make sure everyone opens them at the same time!

WOW....there are many differences between the 3/4 day and 7 day...mainly relaxation time!!! Also, there are the two formal nights, the Tropical Night, all the theme nights in the clubs at night, etc.

Tons of more activities...like the character breakfast, tea with Wendy, etc.

We had these made for our friends little boys since it was going to be their first DCL cruise!!!

We also surprised out kids at Christmas back in '97 with the Maiden Voyage sailing of the Magic that took place in '98. I had ordered T-shirts from WDW (when they had the DCL preview center there) and also made up certificates that they opened on Christmas morning.
