subbing, I can't wait to see how E's trip goes! Thanks for sending me here too, I am going to read through everyone's trips, I think dd would love wdw, like I told you though, not sure if I can get the dh on board with flying.
I hope you can somehow work it out.

Thank you so much for checking out our report. Maybe you could go to
Disneyland if you can convince him?
Thank you!
Just stopped by to say HI! Loved all of the new photos, your family is PRECIOUS! I am POSITIVE from reading TR's and questions on the DIS that the allergies will be carefully taken care of at WDW! You are going to have such a wonderful time, I am certain...and it looks like DL has been a LOT of fun for you all!
Thank you so much! I've been catching up on your trip report too. You have such a beautiful family!
We had an eventful couple of weeks between E and K's and my birthday's and their party, E's scans and then camping. E and K's birthday party was supposed to be at the park but it ended up being too cold and windy so it got moved to my sister's house since it's bigger. Then the next day we left for scans. E does really well with them and has never needed to be put under for them. (only for radiation since it's in a separate room from us) The only issue we had this time is getting his counts at the lab instead of through his port since it's now removed. We usually go to a local place that has the sweetest lady that used to work at a children's hospital. This time since we had made the drive to children's we went to their lab and the lady that drew his labs wouldn't look at him, talk to him or reassure him at all and he got really nervous and was shaking through the whole think. Usually he doesn't mind at all and much prefers it to his port.
His port access was awful until we started using homeopathics to calm his nerves. He would bawl, vomit, and stop speaking for the whole appointment. It was awful. Now he's been barely nervous. But this time it didn't go so well and I think we just got someone that was having a bad day or something. The only thing she said the whole time was, "Besides crying how does he do?" We told her he didn't usually cry and she looked surprised. Things went much better after that and his scans were clear. My inlaws met us there since they live 6 hours away and the hospital is a midpoint. So the kid's got to play with their grandparents and aunt and uncle while we waited. He also had a hearing test that day that went great! All scans were clear and the only thing wrong was his one kidney is still struggling and they want us to push more fluids. We work on it constantly and he drinks all day long but it never seems to be enough. I guess we will just have to keep trying.
We stayed another night for physical therapy in the morning but when we got there they said the PT we had an appointment with called in sick and they forgot to call us. Luckily because we traveled so far they found another one willing to take us a couple hours later so we went food shopping for camping(we were leaving immediately after) and then returned. The PT was amazing and we're going to see him from now on. He knew exactly how to get my guy to have fun and get him to do the exercises. He's going to let us work with him at home and come back in three months with his scans so we don't have to make an extra long trip.
We left for camping up to Big Sur, CA with my brother, dad and stepmom. There is a bridge that fell to the north so we had to go the south route with lots of windy roads. Little K got sick on the way there

and I felt so bad for her. It was supposed to rain but we had camped before with rain there and it wasn't so bad with all the trees so we decided to go anyway since my brother had pre-paid the sites. Well, it poured sheets for two days. E had lots of fun but K was miserable. She wanted down the whole time and it was so muddy and slippery. Everything was drenched and the tents were wet inside. While we packed up everything to go, the ranger came and said there was mudslides/rockslides to the south and we were stuck in Big Sur!

We ended up getting a small cabin for all of us since we were all freezing and everything was soaked. We were all almost out of clothes and food. I was worried about E since it's hard to find things he likes right now that are gluten free.
After checking into the hotel/cabin the power went out.

Luckily the heater was propane and still ssssllllooowwwwelllly started heating the room. We had to get food somewhere since there was nowhere to cook. The room had no phone and cell service was sketchy in the whole town. The next day we packed up and camped out on the PCH/1 for hours in hopes they might let some cars through. Finally after 6 pm they let some through and we made it!

There were rocks still sliding down the hill and we almost hit a huge one and the Caltrans was yelling 'GO, GO, GO!!!' What an adventure!

I love it there and it is amazingly beautiful but I think we've had our fill for awhile.

Being trapped between cold ocean and huge mountains high in the rocky hills is enough for my clausterphobic self. Everyone wanted to stop at a beach on the way home but I insisted on waiting until we were on flatter land and we stopped in San Simeon instead.
Now we are all 4 home and sick but it's great to be safe, warm and dry with internet.

We still haven't heard from our wish granters about May so I'm thinking that might not happen and if it doesn't I'm thinking of asking for early December maybe? I would love it being cooler and getting to see some of the Christmas decorations would be amazing.
I was going to ask, does anyone have any thoughts on bringing carseats? E is still in a 5 point harness but over 40lbs so he's too big for most seats. I'm really strict about car seat safety and since DH managed rental car companies for many years I'm really worried about the safety of rental seats with accidents, expiration, etc. I've heard horror stories with checking them though and K I'm assuming won't have a paid seat since she's under 2? I'd love the extra room on the plane of not having them and K HATES

the carseat so that might be a huge struggle even if we did have the seat.
