Yippee!!! Just booked DCL for 2009

Just thought I would share this - I have just booked a 4 night cruise on Disney Wonder for the end of August 2009.

Although we have been to WDW and DLP a number of times this will be our first cruise - decided to do something a bit different as I will be celebrating a big birthday.

We used Beth at Dreams Unlimited and found her to be excellent. We went for a Cat 7 stateroom and she managed to get us one of the "secret verandah" rooms so even better.

I can't believe I've got to wait until this September to book the flights and DVC. It's not fair!!!

Which date in Aug do you sail? We go on 20th Aug for 3 nights on the Wonder! Maybe you get on as we get off.

Leanne, we go 30th August so a little bit after you. We are only planning on getting to WDW around the 18th/19th so the cruise will be the last part of the trip.

Congrats It will soon come around.We booked our first DLC in January too for Dec 14th this year 4 night wonder and already 2 months have gone.This is also our first cruise.

It's a great feeling booking that cruise isn't it - we go on our first ever Disney cruise in October this year and I am so excited. Have you found your cruise meet thread on the DIS yet - I am really enjoying getting to know my fellow cruisers and planning lots of exciting things!

Highly recommend this, we have had great Dismeets on past cruises Oct 05 was the best with someone arranging a Distag game, taking little gifts from our local area and giving them to others.
I started the thread for our Dismeet this month and involved with one for next August. Also cruising with RCCL this August but the experience is nowhere near as good without the build up of talking to other cruisers.
