I know the east coast has been bombarded with snow this year. We haven't hardly enough for the kids to even play in. But it looks like tonight we'll be getting enough to make at least a snowman in. I don't know whose more excited -- me or my kids.

Keep in mind I do not have to travel in the stuff. I'm sure I wouldn't be as excited if I did! I just hope they are right and it really gets here.:bounce: :Pinkbounc

You are a very sick person!!!! I'm kidding. We have had more than our share this year. Hope you get what you wish for.

You can keep it ALL!!! Enjoy it!!;) ;)

WE have only had a total of 20" so far this winter. March is usually our snowiest month though so maybe we can catch up. This storm will miss us too though. It is going to the south, and we will only get 1-2 inches.

I am so happy for you, and very THANKFUL that is it you and not me.

We have had more snow this year that in the past five years combined. And I think the most snow in one winter since records have been kept, which was in the 1890's.

Last night they were predicting 6-10 for us too....now it is down to 3-6. I don't think they every "really" know for sure. We were just hit with a good 8 inches a week ago this past Saturday. So, eventhough I would like spring to come....I could go for a "good" snow storm.

I'm THRILLED that it's going north this time (Chicago) instead of hitting Indy again! We've had over 45 inches of snow in Indianapolis this year!!!! That's near the record and more snow than they've had in Green Bay or Anchorage, Alaska!

Enjoy yourself. We're going through the melt down from the 8 inches we got two weekends ago. YUCK.

No! No! No! I don't live all that far from you and I don't want it! I DO have to travel in it...:( Tell you what, I'll give you my share...you can have it free of charge.

My kids are excited too. It's supposed to start around 2:00 this afternoon, but I hope it holds off until later. I have to go to Woodfield this afternoon and I would rather not get stuck in it.

I'm with the rest of the "Northern Illinoisans"....we usually have a few snow days by now and WE HAVE HAD NONE!!!! I could really use for the university to be closed tomorrow - you know, too much snow that they can't get the parking lots cleared ;) ;) I'm very excited this is coming....now if they are just on the dot and it really happens!!!!!

We have a staff meteorologist on campus and he just upped his prediction of snowfall from 3-6 to 6-10!!!! He said the gulf moisture is moving much faster and stronger then they first thought so it sounds like WE WILL GET HIT!!!!

Pretty sad that those of us that usually get snow are so excited to actually be getting it!!! ROFL

We live in Southern Wi, just on the IL WI border, we have missed all the snow storms this year which makes me happy, they all went completely around us, but we are finally on the snow track and supposed to get 6 inches, i don't like snow, I have to drive in it.

we are having temps in mid 40's today..and mid 50's tomorrow..and I can't wait for Spring..the snow we had is finally starting to melt away..so you keep it all..and enjoy it for the rest of us who are sick and tired of winter!..lol!
