Yikes!!!

We will be getting off the ship on a Thursday and going to Vero until Saturday. I need to get a rental at Cape Canaveral, but return it to MCO. The cheapest I can find is $146 for a full size car! That seems like a ton, considering that our 8 day rental prior to the cruise for the same size car is only $190.
So, here is the question-
Can I rent from Hotwire and pick up at Cape Canaveral and then drop off at MCO? There is no way to specify the drop off location through Hotwire. Anybody done this?

Have you tried AAA? Also, Costco and BJs (if you are a member) have excellent deals on this type of thing...

Not sure of your dates, but National has had some great rates lately for travel in May and June. I plugged in a Thursday to Saturday for June using the priceless code and got a rate of around $85.

Thanks. I will keep checking. We are not going until December but I have always found it better to reserve cars early versus late for best rates with the least anxiety!
