This happened at Wilkes-Barre airport. An inspector from the FAA was on board the flight for a routine inspection and discovered the pilot was allegedly drunk. The passangers were told the pilot was sick but he was taken to the hospital in handcuffs by the police for alcohol testing, they are now looking into what criminal charges can be filed. The flight was to Mrytle Beach and eventually took off 4 hours later after a new crew was flown in.
Thank goodness the FAA guy was on board to stop the pilot from flying. If it's true he was drunk I hope he's never allowed behind the controls of a plane again!
