WOW............. the price on the 10 day Christmas cruise next year has gone up $700 (for a cat 6) since the bookings opened up this past summer. Just goes to show that it definitely pays to book early on DCL.

YUP!

I'm sailing in three weeks and booked 15 months ago.

The last time I checked, the price was up $1,000/cabin.

I just looked at the 7 day we have booked for next April 17 and it has gone up about $2500 (for a cat 4) since we booked it in September 2002 (through DCL). It will be interesting to see how high the prices go on the 10 day Christmas cruise.

We are sailing 12-13 and the price has gone WAYYYYYYY up...

I wonder why?????

Simple...supply and demand. Yet another reason for 15 more ships! :p

Just out of curiousity - what category are you booked in (and looking at) - Both this and our previous trip were scheduled very shortly before going - they were spontaneous - first one was maybe 5 weeks before - this one is approx 4 months before - I'm just curious how much savings there are - we are booked in category 11's if that makes a difference. And if anyone is brave enough - can we talk numbers? Like per person for a particular category?

Thanks!
