Yikes! Just ran ad-aware!!

I figured I had some time this evening and really wanted to keep up with the computer so I would never have to use system recovery again. I ran ad-aware and seeing how this system was wiped clean on Saturday, I couldn't see how there would be a lot of those trackers, miners, bugs..........whatever you want to call those things. It found 83 of them!! Jeepers!!!!!!!!!!!! What kind of sites have those things? I really haven't done a heck of a lot on the computer!

I installed it on my friend's computer in Orlando on Saturday, and it found 994 'bugs'.

She'd never done it at all, and was floored!!!

I never had run it either but, I did install and run it within the past 2 weeks or so and, it found just under 100 which, according to your friend's total, doesn't sound too bad, considering I've had this computer over 4 years!

remember that while adaware might find a lot of "things" a lot of them don't really matter... they may be harmless tracking cookies...

I know that she'd been 'gator' ed a bunch of times....... and 2 other people use her computer- so who knows what was in it.
