I cant quite figure it out. Sometimes Yeti Vision gives me the prize and sometimes it doesn't. I know it wont if I do it again really quickly, but sometimes it still doesn't after a long wait.

Does anyone know what the prizing process is for Yeti Vision? What is the minimum time between prizes?

Anyone know what I might do that would prevent me from getting the bonus prize at the end?

Happens alot, otherwise I wouldn't post.

Thanks - BellBoy (not the pool boy, thats Bell Boy)

I usually wait about 5 minutes between games. I spend the time playing Narnia or the Monsters Inc. maze. :)

Is Monster's Inc Maze still there? I can't find it anymore :confused3

Just confirming - yes, it is a brief waiting period between 5-10 minutes. If you play sooner than this, you will complete the game, but not get a code.

Thank you! Thank you! I was so disappointed when someone traded me 4 teleporters and none of them match :furious: Now I can get the new ones I need.

But in response to the actual post, I also will do something for a bit in between Yeti levels but this is not a guarantee to work though. I have on occasion after a minimum of five minutes still gotten the prize. :badpc: But just keep going leaving time in between and you will get the codes. Just make sure also to close the code window also. :)

Hello pool boy, ahem i mean bell boy! I exit completely out of the game shutting down all the way to the desktop icon and then reopen and usually have no issues. I usually go check email and have the pool boy get me another drink before starting again....but you already knew that of course since you are the pool boy ;)

I like to open the game in a window instead of full screen. Here's how to do that for anybody who's interested. :thumbsup2

Go to C:\Program Files\Disney\YetiVision\Data and open Globals.xml with notepad. There is a line that looks like this: <Fullscreen>true</Fullscreen> Change "true" to "false" and save the file. Viola.

Awesome cement! I was wondering about that this morning as a matter of fact. Thank you! :thumbsup2

As far as the wait time, I'm really not sure what it is. Seems to be about 5 minutes. I usually go in and delete the cookie for the html doc then I read on the DIS or somewhere else then go back and play. The only time I don't get the prize is if I go immediately back in, but 5 minutes or so seems to work fine.

AWESOME, I have been so bummed because the game goes full screen and changes the resolution which screws up my touch screen forcing me to use the dang mouse.
You solved that problem THANKS!!!!!!!

The complete shut down and restart of the app every 5 minutes have solved the no bonus prizes problem.

Thanks everyone!
Off to clean the pool and listen to Pablo Cruise albums

I think shutting the game down and restarting it isn't necessary. Just wait the 5 minutes and you'll be fine. I always leave it running in the background while I get codes from other games and it gives me a code just fine every time.

Well, it gives me a code every time but sometimes it makes me wait for them. I'll get an empty dialogue box and that can hold for a couple minutes before it moves on and gives me my code. I don't know if it is network traffic slowing it down or what.

For some strange reason, I can sit here and get codes one right after another. I don't understand why it works for me, but not for so many of you.

Let me know if you need some, because I have teleporters coming out of my ears.

Are you thinking of a different game? I've never gotten a teleporter from the YetiVision game!

I was talking about Monsters, Inc. It was brought up earlier.

Sorry 'bout that. My mistake.

----this is me skulking off into the corner, which is hard to do with my foot in my mouth----

Sometimes, even when I have waited 30 minutes between games it will just skip to the main menu with no bonus. It does it on more than one of my machines. Could be my net connection. It seems better since I have been shutting the software down.

Thanks everyone

it is only giving me pins for prizes...is this normal?

I only have been playing Level 3 and it gives out 200 credits and an Everest Chair. At least for the past few days. I actually hadn't played it in a while, and was shocked to find it still giving prizes out.

Seems a good way to earn credits. The chairs sell for 50 credits each

well interestingly enough - when I put in my 3 codes that all said they were for pins - (when the prize pop up window came up - they were all pictures of pins - in every window, Prize 1, Prize 2 and Prize 3) HOwever, when I entered the codes I got 200 credits, the chair, the pin and the room! :cool1:

Hmm Interesting... Will have to try them all out when I get a chance this weekend.

As a side note, does anyone notice that on level three you have to feed a MOUSE to a VULTURE? Is this some inside humor on what is really going on with Disney and possibly it's management? Things that make you go Hmmmm.......
