Good luck with that. I did the same thing the last time this happened, and got nothing but helpful "hints on logging into VMK" from VMK_Sparky. (I seriously didn't think he was a real person until I saw him in the game!)

Last Friday I sent the following email to Disney Online Guest Services:
Episode 3 of the Yeti Vision game on the disneyeverest.com website has once again stopped giving out VMK (Virtual Magic Kingdom) prize codes for finishing the game.

(I realize this is a downloaded game rather than an online one, but there was no "Contact Us" option for it.)

Have played all 3 episodes of Yeti Vision quite often since it opened. The problem with Episode 3 started a day or so ago, and has been verified by many other VMK players. The "checking for prize info" window disappears before it can generate the popup webpage with the prize code, and reverts back to the main menu. Re-downloading and re-installing the game makes no difference.

I have contacted VMK about this in the past, and have only received automated replies unrelated to my query. (Tips on "how to get into VMK".)

If this can be brought to the attention of the appropriate technical department, it would be greatly appreciated.

On Wednesday I got a reply from them, pointing me straight back to the black hole. (Even though I had explained that VMK only sends out automated responses about "how to enter the kingdom".)

I emailed back, restating the problem, and pleading for someone to forward my letter to the appropriate department.

Yesterday I got another reply, from what appears to be a technical support division of Disney Online, saying they had received my email and would get back to me as soon as possible.

I won't get my hopes up, but it sounds like they are at least trying to figure out where to direct this to.
 
Yes...I certainly you Grumpy_Disney_Dad and Alice...same here! I also sent in a email to the black hole on Monday and basicly gto the same response back on WEd...(which surprise me as I never hear from them) Then recieved on today saying they are looking into it!! Being that that its been over a week I too don't want to get me hopes up... But maybe..just maybe they are working on it????? :confused3
 
Still no Yeti. Maybe it got too cold for him and he took a vacation over at Magic Kingdom, where it is a bit warmer??

Oh my goodness! A non-automated response from the black hole? That they are looking into it?

What's all this "I hate the Yeti." talk. Me, well, I'm taken by the Yeti. Sure she gives me the cold shoulder every once in a while. But underneath all that fur, is a kind loving Yeti. Can't well all just give peas a chance? Pray for whirld peas. Love not hate.

So are we still no-go on codes? I thought it was my switiching computers, but if no one is getting codes... :badpc:
 
I just tried to run Yeti Vision to see if perhaps they had solved the problem. Now I have a bigger problem. The program won't run at all! Anyone else having this issue, or am I the lucky one? LOL

OK Nevermind on it not running at all...it's my dumb old computer. :badpc: I got that problem sorted out, so I played all three levels. I got a pin code for both levels 1 and 2, but nothing for level 3. Strange. Anyway, I guess upping the Yeti's credit isn't at the top of their to-do list. :confused3
 
i just tried it and other than still no codes in level 3 it is working fine. BTW eeyore your package went out this morning
 
Really? I've played several times and I'm still getting the pin for levels 1 and 2. No more Everest Room codes for me! Well, at least I'm getting something from the Yeti. Sure wish they'd get it fixed, though. It'd be a lot easier to stockpile Holiday items with those extra credits!

Thanks for the package! I'll be watching for it and will let you know when it arrives.
 
when you enter the code for level 2, the room is added to your room list automatically
 
I wonder if this is related to the fact that ppl sell the codes on eBay? 40 codes gets you 10,000 credits.
 
they really do not sell them on ebay much, there a re a couple, but they do not seem to sell well, and really, yeti is a pain in the you know what way to get credits - which is why when it was good, i normally did not do more than 10 a day
 
I read somewhere that the free picture you receive after winning level three for the first time is no longer valid, so when Disney disabled you receiving the code for the picture they also disabled the code for the credits

Did you ever see the movie Shawshank Redemption? This reminds me of when the character Andy is writing to the Government trying to get funds for his Library and after a letter a week for so many years they finally reply with a chump-change check and thank you we consider this case closed. Andy replies that he'll now have to write two letters a week.

Seems to me you all shoudn't stop writing the Black Hole now. You finally got their attention... :rolleyes:

Good for you, Grumpy! Only one other person has ever gotten a real reply from the black hole about this, to my knowledge. Wonder if the report I sent to Disney Online Games finally made it's way over to some human VMK staff.

The answer is actually a good one, because VMK did fix the Yeti Vision game when this happened before, once they were aware of it.
