Yeti Vision Level 3 - No Codes.

I played Yeti Vision Level 3 last night and this morning with no issues. I set my timer for 5 minutes between each go, then play the game, get a code, no problem. But on my last three attempts I'm not getting a code.

I get to the end and it goes out as though it's going to retrieve my prize, but then rolls back to the main game screen and does not give a code.

After the first failure I thought I must have mis-timed it somehow, no big deal. I reset my timer for 5 minutes and took a shower, shaved, etc. When I came back the timer had long since gone off (about 15 minutes had passed). I played, but again, twice in a row - no code.

I called a friend who plays and she was actually in mid-game, she finished and she got a code. I thought it was just me. So I shut down my WinXP machine. Turned it all the way off. Waited a minute, turned on, and reset my timer. I left to perform some chores, came back about 10 minutes later (timer again, had long ago gone off), and played the game.

Third time in a row and no code.

Again, I've been playing this game for months "harvesting" codes - I know how to do it - wait 5 minutes, play game, get code, wait 5 minutes, play game get code, repeat until bored. lol I've been doing it for months like this, so it's not my technique (unless they've changed the wait time...)

Is it just me or is anyone else having problems in the last half-hour or so?

Sorry to hear your having problems. I have been playing Yeti Level 3 all morning with no real problem, although I will say it has been slow to give codes.

Hope you are able to get codes soon.

Thanks Doc and Pixie. I just tried again after taking a break (haven't tried since I posted in this thread earlier). And I got a code. Strange...

Is there anyone else in your household that plays VMK? And do you have two computers?

I can't explain why, but when my fiance and I are playing and one of us gets a Yeti Vision code, then the other one plays on a separate laptop when less than 5 minutes have gone by, the game doesn't give a code to the second person, like it can tell we're in the same room or something.

Thanks Mnementh, I only have one computer. But Yeti seems eratic lately. It worked fine several times and then failed a couple intermittantly. Though I used it about a dozen times this morning and it was fine. My parents and another friend have reported having problems too.

My guess is the game is just being overloaded with people like me getting codes for Halloween spending cash.

It wont give me codes if I dont take a break between tries. Perhaps they put in a little extra code so people cant get stuff too easily.

That's a thought... but between post-closing last night and this morning I waited only my usual alarm-driven-5-minutes between each go and I got 17 codes with no problems.

I was having a little trouble getting a code last night. I played three times in a row and no code... But when I turned off the game I found that my internet had died, which would explain why I hadn't gotten a code. So just a thought, but make sure your internet connection is good when you go into the game.
