Yet more RSR Questions

Hi everyone
Sorry for yet another RSR FP thread but I can't seem to find the answers to my questions and am getting rather confused
I'm a Disneyland newbie so could do you your expert advice
So, I am staying on site so will be able to take advantage of EE to get into DCA (hope that's the right terminology)
Like most people I will head straight to Carsland upon entering the park and here are my questions
1. Is there just one entrance/direction to Carsland that I should head towards/follow when I enter the park in order to get to Carsland or are there multiple routes to take?
2. Assuming that RSR is up and running, will the SR line be open? - i.e. is the SR line open during EE?
3. If after riding using standby I want to get a FP, where do I head to line up? - do I leave cars land and head back towards Buena Vista Street to join the guests that are entering for regular opening or is there a separate location for the guests already in the park for EE?
4.If you can't use you FP at the allotted time because of a breakdown can you use it outside of your return time window or are they strictly enforcing return times?
5. Any simple walking directions for someone who has never set foot in DCA would be great

Normally there are multiple routes, but CM's have been escorting people back to RSR at opening. I believe that's true for EE as well, it was the day we went. So you'll have to follow along with the crowd. The CM's guide everyone down the main drag of Radiator Springs.

Yes

You do leave Cars Land and head toward BVS, but as long as you get to the FP line before rope drop you should be able to line up ahead of regular admission guests as their line is held on the other side of Carthay Circle. At least that's how it worked the day we had EE.

As far as I can tell they're not enforcing return times anyway, but especially not when there have been breakdowns.

Honestly if you're arriving at opening, whether EE or regular, and are heading to Cars Land first, I think just follow the crowd will get you there.

I hope that's at least somewhat helpful.

I think folks are sometimes hesitant to post too many details since things can and do change, and no one wants everyone on the Dis to be mad at them for posting incorrect info.
