Yet another "what room" question - BCV

We are heading to BCV on Wednesday (1 week - YAY!) our first stay - our home resort is BWV. Are there any rooms better than others? I know at Wilderness, there are 2 1 brs that are significantly larger than the others. Any secret 1 brs at BCV?

This time of year the place will be packed, so ANY room is a good room. The odds of you having a selection are close to zero. But Christmas at BCV? Wow!!

I always request either a room by the rotunda that is near the elevators, or the 1 bdrm by the smaller elevator since we usually rent a car. I love being able to go both ways, and not have to walk so far!

We just got back from BCV last Saturday but had a 2BR. I think any upper floor would be OK. This will keep you away from any road noise. We had a sutdio next to an elevator and didn't like it and moved mainly because it was a smoking room. The elevators are very quick as it's a small building so at most a 20 second wait so a high floor is not a problem.
