I've seen alot of tipping threads and alot of questions and debate about how much you should tip, but what i'm curious about is ....

Personally I tip after the tax because its just easier to look at the final amount, unless i cheat and double the tax to try and figure out the tip. I don't remember what thread got me started thinking about this but it had a post where someone was explaning how income taxes are based on 8% of the food bill, and i was wondering if that was before or after taxes?

But I tend to be extremely generous because I hate doing that math!
