yet another ticket question....

My friend is traveling to Orlando for a dance competition in July. The dance company is offering to the families a 4 day park hopper pass for $168. It seems like a good deal but she's not sure if she will use all 4 days. My question is...can she add on no expiration when she gets there if she isn't going to use the 4 days? It sounds like a group ticket sale from DIsney but what if it's not?? Can she still add on the no expire if they are bought from another ticket source?? I'm going to call the dance company to see exactly where the tickets are coming from. My friend always calls me for "Disney" information....she thinks i know so much... little does she know...The DIS is responible for all my knowledge....

If her ticket is not a 'comp'ed' ticket (free) but is just a basic Magic Your Way pass she will be able to add the No Expiration at Guest Services in the parks. Any restrictions should be printed on the back of her pass, but as long as it's just a standard ticket media it doesn't matter where she got it or how much it cost, it carries the same rules as any other Magic Your Way pass.

Thanks...no it is not a free ticket...so she will be able to add on the no exprie. I thought so but wasn't sure if the tickets were bought from someone other than Disney she still be able able to do that. I do think, however, that there were bought from Disney's group sales by the dance competiion organization. Thanks again.

Sports, convention and specialty tickets are not regular MYW tickets. They have different rules including most of them being non-upgradeable. That means that the ticket is good for only what it states and cannot be exchanged, upgraded, or have other options added to it.

Easiest way to tell what you are getting is to find out the terms of the ticket. If it's one that expires 10 days after first use or by 12/31 of the current year, just use whatever you can and enjoy it as it cannot be changed.
