I have both a Volo and a Pliko P3 (Sportivo) - I can't decide which one to take for my 30 pound 14 month old! I'd have to get the accessory pack for the Volo if we go with that.

I've read the stroller threads and some people seem to like the Volo and some the P3, but what if you have both to choose from???

I like the Volo, but I wouldn't take it for a 14 month old - he is going ot need a nap and that doesn't recline. I think the Pliko is perfect for that age - the Volo will be ideal when he is 3 or 4.

I have an older (2002) MacLaren Daytripper umbrella stroller and I just bought a Pliko for my 20 month old. I agree with all Bev had to say PLUS---not only can baby recline for nap but also sit straight up to really see whats going on around him/her, the Pliko is more stable, Pliko has a snack tray (or one can be purchased for it) and the Pliko stands when folded (great for in the room or while waiting for the bus...).

I agree, while the volo is a nice umbrella stroller it does not recline and you will definately need that feature. Definately take the Pliko P3. I am taking my volo for my 4 yr. old and a Quest for my 18 mos. old since it reclines.

I would definitely take the P3. The volo will be great, except that it doesn't recline. When the baby is older that will be the perfect stroller for WDW.

Rowlf,

How old will your child be when you are traveling? When my Dd was about 18 months old, she didn't like to ride in our bigger, reclining stroller. She never liked to be reclined, and when she would fall asleep, we would recline it and it's like she knew we did it and would wake up. She always enjoys riding in her volo. If she falls asleep she just turns her head to the side and her head doesn't seem to flop around. She just turned 2 last week, and we will be taking our Volo for our trip this December. It definately will be a lot lighter to carry, especially on the buses and the trams! Good Luck!:wave2:

long4disney, you aren't making this easy! DS will be 14 months, but he will.not.sleep in the stroller. I'm hoping to work on that over the next few weeks, but I'm planning on heading back to the Poly for a big nap.

I'm leaning towards the P3 for the canopy and the rain shield, though.
