Yet another scan in question with Genie plus and ILL

So if half my party want to sleep in…. (I know how silly of them) can I:

1. Scan them in if not present (pretty sure this is a noway)

2. Get a ILL for them? Or make any LL for them?

In no to the above, and they scan in 1/2 hour later, will the just appear in my group at that time?

No to the above, and if they are linked, they should appear already just as ineligible I believe.
