Yet another Poly laundry question LOL

I know there are several threads in the past on this but I read 'em all and didn't find an answer to this. . .

How many machines are in the Poly laundry, each, of washers and dryers? What kind of detergent is in the vending machines? My daughter is sensitive so I think I'll have to bring All Free from home but I was just wondering.

Also, and this might have an ick factor to it- if you've used the machines at Poly did you find them to be clean? I'm a germ freak and the idea of using public machines freaks me out- I've done it at Disney in the past with no problems at other resorts but after reading how busy the Poly laundry is I'm thinking maybe we need to just buy more clothes instead of planning to do laundry! LOL Or use the laundry service if we're desperate . . .

TIA for any advice, experiences you can offer. . .

they only have tide. yea, I am allergic to tide also. so I definitely bring something from home.

well you can bring your disinfect and clean it - if you want too.

but I think they are pretty clean.

We just got back from staying at the Poly. We did try to do laundry one afternoon but the room is small with only about 10 washers and 10 dryers. The machines are small and outdated, they really need to replace them with the new larger capacity front loaders. The day we were there, it was really busy. We left our clothes washing and when returned 1/2 hour later people had taken our wet clothes out and left them on the table. The people were still there and commented that they would never leave their clothes unattended - I guess that justified them taking them out - just creeped us out that strangers were handling out clothes. One of the two dryers we used never got hot although it tumbled the clothes so we did not realize it was not working until we checked them 20 minutes later. Even the dryer that did get hot didn't dry our clothes. We spent almost 2 hours doing laundry and still had to bring all our clothes back to the room and hang them up so they could finish drying. My advice, avoid the Poly laundry room if at all possible. Hope you have a great trip - we did. :)

Outdated??? The washers and dryers looked very much like the ones in our laundry room at home (top loader washer / front loader dryer). There are also about 8 - 10 smaller, stacked dryers along one wall.

I am an early riser and had the entire laundry room to myself at 5 a.m. I watched the TV in the waiting area, read without disturbing my sleeping family and washed, dried and folded 2 loads without problem. I almost enjoyed doing laundry:rotfl2:
