Yet ANOTHER NEWBIE...dates question...

Hi everyone!

We're leaving for WDW on 9/30/07 returning 10/5/07. DH just asked off from work for that week, got it, but was told by his boss that "you're crazy for going down there that time of the year, it's hurricane season!"

What do you think? Are these horrible dates?

It is hurricane season...but the chances of a hurricane hitting Orlando are rather slim.

I am only 60 miles inland from Myrtle Beach, SC. So during hurricane season there is always some chance of us getting hit. Just go and enjoy your disney trip. We have been several times during hurricane season and have not had the first problem.
