I have a 20G photo Ipod and my DS has an ipod mini. We have Windows XP and we each have Itunes and our own separate libraries on our Windows log in screens. Now, my DH and other DS got ipods for Christmas. How do we share the music that we've already purchased with them without them having to log into our libraries and mess up their playlists, etc. DH and I are pretty computer savvy and we can't seem to figure out an easy way to do it. DS and I have spent hundreds of dollars at itunes over the year that we've had our ipods and the other 2 family members want some of those songs too.

Help!! The ipod help files are NO HELP.

If you go under the file menu along the top, you can select add folder to library or add file to library. These will let you browse through your computer for other music and import it into your itunes. We had 3 log ons and 3 ipods on my computer at one point and I was able to import songs from all 3 of our libraries into each others itunes. The add folder option is if you want to import an entire cd or folder from someone elses files. The add file is if you want to bring in a single song.

I hope that helps!

Thats a great tip. Thanks, we always had to log on and mannually upload the one or two songs we wanted. Thanks that makes it much easier.
