tried to get a quote from access america, but can't get it for more than 550 days out and we are planning our cruise for Oct 2005 which we want to book now to get better rates and we are at 615 days out. Any suggestions? Should we just get insurance when we book later today?

Thanks, Pacha

IMO - I would not buy the Disney insurance - it is much more expensive than others sources for insurance. I would book the cruise and then anytime prior to paying off the cruise you can buy insurance from one of the other sources mentioned often on these boards.

What I was told was to take the total price, including air, and divide by the number of people. I did buy thier comprehensive plan. Make sure that you check out the Access America AAA site. Children are free. Sorry that I don't know the site address.

You can cancel your cruise up to 60 days in advance with a full refund, so don't worry about insurance now. You'll have plenty of time to buy it later when you can get a quote. DCL insurance is VERY expensive compared to others, so you are better off going privately.

check out insuremytrip.com. i just purchased my insurance last week with them and i feel i got a good by. there are many different plans to choose from and if you have any ?'s there's an 800 number to call. hope this helps.

Thanks for the advice. We went with it and decided to book cruise now and get insurance later.
