Yet another Gay Day question (MK specific)

I tried to search but it's not working for me right now. Ok so our seasonal passes will be going into blackout starting June 10, so I need (yes...need) to make one more day of the MK before then.

My question is this...

Since this Sat is gay day at the MK will it be more crowded, less crowded or about the same as any other Sat during this time of year?

My thinking was that there may be people avoiding MK that day for their personal reasons...so that would leave more room for me! Which also makes me think that Sunday may be extra crowded because maybe those people who are avoiding MK on Sat are going to want to go Sun. On the other hand...how many people are going to MK on Sat just for gay day? Is it so many that they will more than make up in attendance for those avoiding?

MK will be very crowded on that Saturday. Some people will avoid being there on Saturday because of Gayday, but many, many people will have no idea what's going on, and still won't as they leave the park that night. We've been during Gaydays 3 times now and the first time we didn't even know it until we got home and read the Disboards. We noticed a lot of red shirts, but nothing else... I avoid MK on Saturdays at any time of the year since that seems to be the busiest day...

Youre going to hear a LOT of "more crowded" but I was there, on Gay Day Saturday at MK in 2004 - and it was much LESS crowded than a typical Summer Saturday (and we were going weekly)

We walked on many, many, many attractions - didnt feel at all - what so ever.

We showed up around 11am-ish - stayed until close - and again, not crowded.

Gay Day 2005 in the MK on a Saturday wasn't that crowded. Just my experience...

I worked at MK on Gay Day a few years ago. The crowds seemed no different then any other day.

I have to agree...we only went from opening until about 2:00 as that was our leave-to-go-home day last year, but I thought it would be MUCH more crowded, based on what I had read. We did not experience out of the ordinary crowds, and we usually go during "slower" times than the first week of June.
