Does anyone else get constant fake ebay and PayPal emails? I can't stand it anymore! I feel like someone is trying to break into my account as we speak. HOW can these people get away with even sending these emails? I don't know what is fake or real sometimes. Here is what I got today::::::

There is NOTHING wrong with my account. I just checked on the actual ebay site. Two days ago, I got a similar email from "Pay Pal". Argggggggggghhhhhhh.

Just venting,

Never, ever click on any of those links.. Simply ignore them..

If there is truly a problem, something will pop up when you are actually ON the eBay or Paypal site trying to perform some kind of transaction..

We get SO many its not even funny..well sometimes if you read their spelling and grammer its funny!

I also do not understand how these people get away with anything....

Delete them. We just got two yesterday asking us to for our sign-in information due to a "security" check. We just sent the email to eBay and let them take care of it.

I get them all the time. I simply copy and send to their security but I am sure they know.

Just delete them.

Well, I get them and:

1. I don't have a pay pal account
2. I don't have an EBay account

I have gotten the same thing from a Cloned Yahoo address telling me my Yahoo account was suspended for non payment. Hmmm, that is a free account. I have an email account which is soley used for junk mail. I don't give the address out for anything, and I get the same ebay and paypal notices there.

You can either ignore them and report the ebay ones to the ebay spoof notifier or you can ignore them. But it is good to let people know you are getting them and warn them not to click and supply the info. Not everyone is really computer savvy, and you may be the one to keep someone else from being ripped off.

And the best ones come from people claiming to be from Citi Bank, they have the WORST Spelling or is the speeeling?

I get them all the time. I used to forward them to ebay (they would send an email back to me telling me that they did not send the email), but now I just delete them.

Now I'm getting emails from ebay regarding shipping costs that I supposedly questioned (example: email says that I emailed a seller asking how much it would cost to ship item to other countries). They also give you a link to view the item. Of course, I never click onto the link....God only knows what will pop up. I just delete those emails as well.

Did anyone get the email from the FDIC stating that your accounts will be frozen based on suspected terroist activity????

paypal ones can be forwarded to spoof@paypal.com. I get em for citi bank, paypal, well fargo, fdic. and they are usually to an email address that isn't assocated with acct. or in case of Wells fargo and Citi I don't have accts. with them

I get the scam paypal and ebay emails all the time. I always forward them on to the spoof address. ::yes::
