Yet another DVC AP Question!!!

We are looking to get a Disneyland Deluxe AP with DVC discount. If our 1st use is on a block-out Saturday, can we get in that day?

I didn't think there was a DVC discount on DL tix, is there one now?

FWIW, I thought I remembered seeing somewhere that a DL AP holder can buy a discounted "Blockout Day" ticket for around $40 or $50 to use for a single day.

Isn't the rule at DL that you can use the AP the day you buy it, even if that's a block-out day? You might get better answers over on the DL board.
