Yet another double stroller question...

Hi everyone!

I'm sorry for the question (I actually did a search but so many threads came up that I just thought I would go ahead and post my question here) but we are traveling to the world in January with our two young daughters (ages 2 & 4). We currently have a Mac Twin Traveler that we love, but my husband thinks will be to heavy and cumbersome to take to the parks (he does all the stroller pushing). What are some of your recommendations for a good, lightweight double umbrella stroller? Ideally we would love to have reclining seats and a sun canopy, but it's not necessary. Thanks so much for helping us out!

We personally found out the hard way how much easier it was pushing the two youngest ones (and the big one sometimes!) in the double stroller you can rent from the parks. You walk 5-15 miles a day in the parks they say, and pushing all that weight gets tough. Not only that, but manuvering is also a lot easier with the rental. It is a stroller designed for walking, the handle is higher, even with 90 120 pounds in it you feel like you are pushing nothing! Anyway, that is what we prefer to do

I use the Jeep double stroller. It reclines, has a canopy,and a single cup holder, just no basket underneath. It folds up like an umbrella stroller, so pretty small and compact. It has gone on two trips so far, and will go on another. I think it cost about $50 at Babies R us.
