Yet another December question!

I've been to DL during Christmas(12-26/12-30)and it's packed beyong belief(closing the gates is norm)I know WDW is probably packed the same time period but what about around the dates of
12-17/12-22? Is it ridiculously packed then too? As bad as mid summer?

My kids have only been once, very end of July beginning of Aug, and it was packed, but we were there a week so we still had a ton of fun. Will it be about the same or worse during 12-17/12-22?

We were there last year from 12/20-12/29. IMO, the crowds werent bad until christmas and after. We actually got a lot more than we had planned done the first few days, which freed up some time at the end for us to relax more and take things slow.

We were also there a month ago and Id say the crowds were a bit smaller before Christmas than mid July. EE at MK was wonderful because it started at 7:00(park opening in Dec was 8:00). We got there at 7:30 on 12/21 and it was deserted. The CM at the entrance actually called over to us and waved us in, LOL!

We've made 5 December trips (2 we were there for Christmas Day), and I've noticed that it gets more and more crowded the closer it gets to the holiday. Christmas Day is an absolute nightmare IMHO! The dates you are looking at will probably be just moderately crowded---more so near the end of your trip. Happy planning! There's nothing like WDW at Christmastime!

We went last December, and it didn't seem too crowded at all. No horrible waits for anything, in my opinion! December is such a wonderful time to go!
