1. Do I need to add tax to cost per day of dining plan -- ie 9.99 + tax -- and if so what is the tax.

2. I just estimated 8 day trip.

No DDP, 14 CS, 1 CRT, 1 Ohana Breakfast and variety of snacks -- for 3 a, 1 c: with tax and tip added it came to : 863.17

Compare to DDP (didn't add tax to base price) + average tip of $15/meal: 972.72

Does this sound right? So basically -- for another $100, we can eat all TS. __ I keep changing my mind -- good thing I still have a while to go.

Why would you not go for DDP for $100.00 more? I would jump on that in a heartbeat. I don't think you would regret it! Tax is already included in price of DP, but not gratuity.

Don't add tip$, its the same w or w/o plan so it just clouds the numbers:

CRT 27.99 +(3x44.99)+ Ohana( 3x18.99) + 10.99 = $230.92 plus tax = $245.93
14 x 30 (Avg Adult CS at $10) = $420 + 14x 5(Avg kids CS $5) = $490

Snacks assuming 4 per day@$3 = $12 x7 = $84

Grand Total OOP $820

DP Cost: $867.72 for 7TS, 7 CS and 7 Snacks PP

So for less than $50 you can have 4 more TS meals and know your meals are covered before you arrive at Disney! :thumbsup2
