Yet another DDE ?

So you get 2 cards per sign-up.
Each card can be used for up to 8 guests (does this include you?).
If you have a party of 16, can split the bill between the 2 cardholders and use the 2 DDE Cards and get 20% off 16 people?

The reason I ask is b/c we'll be hosting our wedding dinner at the Cali Grille, & as AP holders we can get the DDE at the $25 DIScount. If we can get away with the 16 people @ 20% we'd save a TON!!!

Here is my understanding:
DDE members receive 20% discount on all food and beverages up to 10 people at participating WDW restaurants.
Discount applies to member's check only, and one DDE card per table. Two cards cannot be combined.
The DDE member must be present to receive the discount.
