Yet another DDE question....

Can you purchase the DDE card at Disney? So many people are having problems getting their cards due to the popularity - to avoid the confusion of using a fax/letter etc., is it possible to buy these cards in WDW when you arrive??

no, you have to call and order it. I called to get mine but the CM suggested I wait because we aren't going until May and we are getting seasonal passes when we get there. Unlike Seasonal and APs, the DDE is activated as soon as you order it so if I get it now, it will expire before our passes do. She told me to call back as soon as we buy our passes and she will fax a letter to the resort for us to use instead of the card.

Curious, seasonal passes? Only Florida residents can buy seasonal passes. Us out of towners, referred to as tourist, are only allowed to buy regular APs and premium APs.

Why don't you call the number to order the DDE card and ask them it's better to get the answers from them so you know what your options are. You don't want to get there call them and then can't get through

I've been reading up on this and you can probably do this if it's on a weekday; they are closed on weekends. You'll need access to a computer and printer or a fax machine, which I'm sure the front desk could help you with.

the lady I talked to at DDE told me to call as soon as I buy my tickets. We are arriving on a Mon. so they should be open. We are FL residents. Just not there at the moment.
