Sounds good. I would comment on the food - I dont see too many great reviews about big riveer grill, we havent eaten at espn, its reasonable and a good atmosphere for the sports fans, also I see your fantasmic pkg. is at $;30 and the parade is ? 1 hour later. Even if you finished eating in less than an hour you would not get a good view for the parade or might not see it in its entirety since its starts more from where you are dining. On sat. if you want to see spectro, you might consider dinner early at a mk resort restraunt like ohanas or concourse steakhouse etc. Have a great trip.

Your intro doesn't mention how many people in your party or if you have have any small children.

Because you only have 4 park days available to you, your flexibility is somewhat limited. If you have small children you may find it difficult to keep to this schedule, if no children, then it seems like a good plan - you are hitting all the things that are important to you.

The only thing I question is your Epcot day. You have an 8:30 breakfast at a sit down place, so you probably won't actually get to Epcot much before 10:00, then plan on a food court lunch, and have a 4:30 dinner PS at MGM. That is a lot of food in a short period of time.

You will probably need to leave Epcot by 3:00 to be sure to make your 4:30 PS. From your itinerary this is your only stop in Epcot. Five hours ( approx 10A - 3P )is not much time to see a lot at Epcot.

I was at WDW over Memorial Day weekend a few years ago. It was EXTREMELY crowded. Your Saturday AK day may be frustrating - long waits for every attraction. Have a good plan of what rides/shows you really want to see. Use FastPass as much as possible, and try to stay cool.

Have a great trip.

Thank you for the feedback!

Our party is Me, DH, DD11, and DS8.

We go every year so we know our way around. I imagine we'll be leaving each park shortly after lunch to hang out at the pool before our evening activities. It's not really a commando schedule, I just didn't put that in the plans because it will depend on how we feel.

There are alot of question marks on the plan as those are the things we will play by ear.

I actually don't think we'll eat lunch on our Epcot day. I figure a snack will probably hold us 'til the 4:30PS.

We love Epcot, it's our favorite park. If we don't meet our friends for dinner before the Illuminations cruise, we'll probably hang out at Epcot before that and eat there. We'll probably also hop over there on Saturday after AK if we haven't gotten enough Epcot time in.

I chose AK for the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend because 1)it's Star Wars Weekend at MGM & 2) Saturdays are horrible at MK. I figure we'll start at AK, do the things that are must do's for us and then head to Epcot where it's never crowded.

The parade at MGM is not a priority for us. I just put it in the plans so we'd remember it was going on if the timing works out.

jl3614: your feedback was detailed and well thought out....thanks for taking the time to do that!

luvmarypoppins: Thanks for the input on the Big River Grill. We're actually leaning towards ESPN but it actually hinges on two things. 1)Whether or not friends are joining us for dinner & 2) Which restaurant (if either) will take a reservation so we don't have to wait.

To be honest, I'm not super thrilled with all the travelling you'll be doing with this itinerary. It does not appear as if you're going back to your hotel in the pm for an afternoon break. That's not the problem.

The problem is that on each day you have dinner/evening plans far away from the park you are in that day. For example, your first day is MGM but you then go all the way across most of Disney World to the Polynesian for the luau. The next day is your MK day, and dinner ESPN and an Illuminations cruise.

Why don't you do Fantasmic on your first day (MGM day), the luau your second day (MK day), and the Illuminations cruise your third day (Epcot day). This saves you the time it takes to trek across Disney World to your dinner activities.

Other than that I think it's a great plan. Just my thoughts.

Good point! I actually scheduled everything around EE days/least crowded days in each park. Then, I booked the Illuminations cruise and this was my 2nd choice of days but I got the hard to get reservations and went with it. Yes, it's alot of traveling but we rarely stay in one park all day anyway and we don't really mind the traveling. The kid love the monorails and boats so we'll take them whenever that fits into the plans.

I didn't really think about the amount of time required to hop around but you and jl3614 have brought it to my attention so I'll be sure to allow enough time.

Thanks so much!
