We were at the Magic Kingdom yesterday and we saw the nicest thing!
We were waiting for the 3:00 parade and there was a girl who has Down Syndrome. She was so excited for the parade to start, she just wanted to see Mickey
When Mickey rode by on the float she was so happy & yelling Mickey.
Of course Mickey waved at her and that was awesome! Then Woody came by and she yelled Woody- Well, Woody bypassed EVERYONE to come over to her and grabbed her hands and patted her. She was so excited, jumped up and down. It was was awesome to hear her laugh! My Hubby and I got a bit misty eyed as it was soo sweet.
The rest of the day
MK was packed tho. So really really crowded. Rides that don't normally have waits (Stitch had fast pass open and the people mover had a HUGE line) During the day was bad- later into the evening it calmed down a bit.
Had no issues eating at Liberty Tree Tavern. It was a character meal / family style lunch as Crystal Palace is closed. they brought me my own little GF plate and I was able to eat a good meal. GF rolls and all
I was actually rude to someone...pushy adult group tried to bully their way to the ropes for the parade. shoving kids and leaning on me & Little kids- like 5 yo kids- shoving them under the ropes to make me & those kids step away and lose our spots. My Hubby and another family next to us hubby's did a crossed arms/ feet spread type stance and told them to back off.
I turned around a couple times and I didn't mean to but my purse (hanging over my shoulder) wapped the lady..
it was an interesting time! They finally left when they knew they could'nt bully us.
