Just a heads up after some of the negative posts this week. We spent the day at Disneyland yesterday and had a blast. Yes there are tons of kids, yes it is crowded and yep some of the rides broke down (Haunted Mansion was one). BUT..... we renewed (well bought new ones) our Season Passes (anyone notice they are not as hard as the old ones) with a wonderful cast member named Rachel, who not only made it fast and easy, she also sent us to the next window to get my sons Birthday pass... fast and sweet, what more can I say? A heads up here.... they can give you your parking fee back when you get your passes or they said you can bring the parking pass back at any time and they will give you your money back!
The park was crowded but I love to people watch and honestly I did not see any rude people.... the only thing that happened was a 2 year old spent the entire time waiting for the train screaming and his mama thought it was so cute..... and when I say screaming, it was a he gave me a headache scream..
Also....... there was gum everywhere in the park.... cast members said Grad Night left overs and it would continue for a few more weeks.
Overall....... Disney is Disney and I love it. Yep there is going to be negatives if you look for them but personally I do not have time for that. I am at the Happiest Place On Earth with my 3 favorite people in the world and I am making memories to last the rest of my life!!!!!
We are headed back today, my best friend and her family will be here this afternoon, so that should be fun. Then tomorrow we will spend a couple of hours here and head back to the real world!
By the way...... the weather was beautiful..... low 70s with a slight breeze!

Glad you are having fun! I guess gum on the ground is one more good reason to wait until the end of June for us to go. :rotfl:

Well said. I think this is the point - if you are taking the time to make a memorable vacation, take the time to find some enjoyment in it. Put out the positive...get positive in return. :thumbsup2

Thanks for this post - we need to see more of these!

PS - WHY can't I get partial quotes to work????:confused3

When you're deleting part of the message, you're deleting part of the bracket that makes it "code". Specifically, you're missing the [ before /QUOTE]. Gotta close the brackets! Once you make sure the [ is there, it'll show up as a pretty quote for ya.

Thank you. :teacher:

I was there last night as well. DBF and I got there around 10pm and we could of sworn all the rides were going to be walk on. But sure enough it was pretty crowded. We waited about 30-40 minutes for the Matterhorn and that's all we rode. Before that we just strolled around and ate a burger, since it was so crowded.

Despite crowds, still a nice night! =)

Yay for a good time a Disneyland. And you have the perfect attitude - not everything is going to be perfect, anywhere, but why focus on the little pesky things when there is soooo much womderfulness around you? Good to hear you are having a great time!

Actually, in this case, MagicalMomAZ, you deleted the "[" AND the "/" at the end. You have "QUOTE]" and you need "[/QUOTE]" for it to show up properly. :)

Or you can just highlight then copy and paste what you would like to quote then highlight that here, then click on the quote symbol that is above this message box.

DS & DDIL are there right now & got a little cool last evening. They're having a wonderful time, but got stuck on Toy Story Mania today. They were the last evacuated when it broke down and didn't like just sitting there for 20 mins (they thought they'd been forgotten!)

Good thing that they did not have to go to the bathroom. ;) Seriously. :)

...There is a special place in Hell for people that spit gum on the ground!!!:sad2:
I mean, theres only about a million garbage cans in the park...:teacher:

We had that experience on Roger Rabbit. We were RIGHT at the end, just in front of the doors that take you to the unloading section. They wouldn't let us get out. We were the last. The people behind us included a family split into two ride vehicles, and the daughter was very upset that she was with her dad instead of her mom, and the dad decided to become borderline abusive instead of cuddling her. Not fun.

Hmm, maybe Singapore has it right?

good to know! thanks for the head's up. plus, the weather is great! hopefully when I come in a few days there isn't a heat wave or something! I live in Arizona and our high is like 106 so I'm sooo ready to leave this place for a few days!

Kinda sad how poor DLR is having problems with their rides :( Last I went (for my birthday, March 31st) Some of my all time favorites I couldn't ride, because they had difficulties.

Space Mountain
Indiana Jones
Haunted Mansion

We were actually in the HM in the attic scene, when the ride decided to get stuck for no more than 2min. And of course, our buggie got stuck right in front of that creepy bride, I actaully got spooked :rotfl:

Glad you had a good time, I agree, Disney is Disney, and I love it!!!! :)
