Yesteday's Oprah- Jackson children

Is blanket autistic? I just watched the children's interview part and his lack of eye contact and the way he played with the toy just made me think of that.

I'd be a bigger fan if she had actually attempted to stop the abuse...

I find it really hard to put that kind of expectation on people who were married before I was born. My MIL and FIL's marriage, for instance, was a nightmare, and if I were inside of that relationship I would have run far far away, but MIL felt that she had no other choice to make. Mrs Jackson now might be VERY different from how she was when her children were young.

Jackson's own children have been "out" for over a year and a half and haven't suffered any negative consequences from it. They aren't getting even a thenth of the scrutiny that Suri Cruise or the Pitt-Jolie children get.

The mask stunt was done to satisfy Jackson's ego, IMO

So he misjudged. He went the complete opposite of what happened with him, and it didn't work like he thought it would work. Doesn't mean it was for some ego trip.

Keeping kids hidden worked for Tom Cruise's first two kids; we only started to see them after he and Nicole split up, and there doesn't seem to be a big clamor for pictures of them. They show up in pictures when they are hanging out with the Cruises and Suri, but they don't really show up otherwise. And with Suri and the Jolie-Pitt kids, I believe their parents learned from others' past mistakes (possibly even MJ's), and showed them from very very early ages, so that they could just walk around, people could take pictures, but there wouldn't be any overwhelming reactions to the kids. So yes we see pictures, but the kids aren't being harmed while the pictures are being taken.
