Sunday--November 25--magic kingdom and Epcot

Since Magic kingdom is closing at 6 today, we again park at epcot and monorail it over to the magic kingdom. Our ongoing theme is to get to the parks at about 10 and today was no exception we got into magic kingdom alittle after 10. One thing I saw was during the security check a women with a cooler (i think it had her medications, i heard her taking to a CM) they had her lift her shirt--she had some sort of body brace on--and they checked her brace. I didn't know they could check your body too--not that i don't think the security check is a bad thing but I felt bad for the women having to lift her shirt in front of everyone in line.
The park is fully decorated now for christmas and main street looks beautiful.
The first thing we did was the country bear jamboree christmas show, since we don't ususally go at christmas we had to see it. It was cute. We decided on the pirates ride next(we seem to do this one alot, there is almost never a line and the kids really like it) in fact we did it twice. Next up is haunted mansion with almost no wait. We head to fantasyland and see the peter pan ride line is small we hop on. Well, it seems everyone gets fast passes for this one. We waited and waited on the small line for 40 minutes. They only let about 2-4 people in the stand by line at a time while the fast pass line just moves on. One lesson learned only fast pass from now on! When we got off peter pan it was mayhem, people were just stopped between small world and peter pan--this section always seems the most congested to me.
We found the end of the small world line and got on, it moves quickly they opened up the other side while we were on. We noticed today alot of the fast pass machines were closed up, i guess they didn't think it would be too crowded. It really wasn't too bad we rode everything with a minimal wait. We went on to snow white next and probably rode within 10 minutes. Pooh fast passes were next and then we went to tomorrowland, the wait for space mountain was 15 minutes so doug and dylan went on. The rest of us went on the people mover, we rode twice and went we came off doug and dylan were waiting.
lunch was at the plaza pavillion again--i wanted pecos bill but no one wanted to walk there at that moment. After lunch i walked to the bakery for the ice cream sandwiches YUMMY! We did a few more things and them decided to head to epcot. On the monorail over Sami fell asleep.
We get to Epcot and try to decide what to do with a sleeping sami. I take sami into the Art of disney and the rest ride spaceship earth. I again wait outside with sami while everyone else heads into the Ice Station with all the samples of coke from other countries (we did this the other day and i gave doug the beverly and told him this is the best one--all he said was tastes like cough medicine
) By the time they come out, sami has woken up. I give her and drink and we all go to get something to eat at the electric umbrella. We head to living with the land and get on line for the land ride, the CM says the line is 50 minutes but we only wait about 15 and then we are on. When we come out the rest of the land is closed and we realize it must be 7 already.
We head to Norway again for the troll ride and then stop at the bakery for some viking cookies for the kids. Off to test track and there is no line--Everyone rides (even Sami made this one) Except for Ryan and me--for some reason he was afraid so I got off the line with him. After this, the fireworks are starting and Sami is holding her ears--she does not like them at all. a Bathroom break and we head out.
I can see the parks are really emptying out, the lines are small and Epcot seems very empty at night.
