Hello,
not sure if this is the right place to post, but...
about the YES program, we are going in october 2012 and right now there are only three classes for that time period, only two of those for my son's age and none for my other son's age. do they open up new classes as it gets closer? or should i grab these while they are available? and do i have this right-the park tickets we can purchase are only good during the time we are there? nonrefundable?
thanks so much!:)
i think my son would really enjoy this

It is possible that they could decide to add more classes, but I don't think they usually do.

When you register you put in your arrival and departure dates. The tickets are good for 7 days beyond whatever you put in as your departure, so you you do have some flexibility if you decide to shift your dates a bit.

They are non-refundable and they also cannot be upgraded. So you should get the maximum number of days you might use and be sure to get park hoppers and water parks if you think you may want those options as well.

October is a bit farther out, but I know many of the other classes filled up right away. So if it's something you're sure you want to do you should probably sign up as soon as possible.

My daughter is in ocean discoveries on 10-17 and my son is in How things Move on 10-12. We enrolled now because I didn't want to risk them selling out!

Do you know how many tickets you can buy per individual student? We have 6 kids and 3 adults going, but only 5 of the children would be able to take a class. I'm sure my kids would really like the program. We are already booked, but I see you can only do the class if you buy the tickets as a package. So if they do the class would we all be able to get tickets?

We're doing the YES classes for the 2nd year this October. They are nonrefundable so you definitely have to know when you're going before you buy. You also can't combine them with a package deal so if free dining comes out, you're out of luck. Last year the classes came out later (around July I think). They went fast and I missed them. A few weeks later they opened a new class for the week we were going so it's possible but I wouldn't count on it.

We are going in June and my DS11 is taking a YES class, but my DD9 is not. My parents are also going with us on this trip. I was able to buy park tickets for the 4 of us (myself, DH, DS & DD). Because my parents are not considered immediate family, I could not purchase park tickets for them. So, depending on how your 3 adults relate to your 6 kids may determine if you can all purchase park tickets or not.

On my YES Program paperwork, my DS & I are both listed as attending the class, even though he is really the only participant. (does that make sense?)

Right now I have an entire package booked - rm, tkts and dining

I just got a pin for room only - Can I book room and dining without a ticket package?

Thanks!

Trying to figure out the best deal :teacher:

and - if I can't get just the room and dining, what should I expect to spend on dining for breakfast and lunch counter service and 4 character meals for 4? Is it possible to keep it under $200/day? I do have AAA for restaurant discounts.
