Brilliant!

We had a letter from Virgin this morning, offering Premium Economy seats at discounted rates of £199 pp e/w on selected dates.

Not only did they still have availability for our flight on the 8th June, but we also got our frequent Virgin discount of 10% off the total amount.

Therefore 2 PE seats for £358, much better than the previously quoted £275 pp e/w. A whopping saving of £191.80!!!!!!!

We've done it before in 2003, it was absolutely brilliant but we couldn't justify £550 on top of the holiday, we could justify £358 (somehow)!!!!

Worth it for extra legroom, extra width, extra reclining on the seats, prettier stewardesses, bags first off at MCO and guaranteed sunshine on arrival!!!!

Wow! You got an amazing deal - I am so suprised they still had availability at such short notice.

Have a great time!

Excellent, sounds like a really good deal. :)

Excellent - wonder if they'll do the same offer fo rnext year :)

"prettier stewardesses"

Are the more visually appealing ones really only for premium passengers? :teeth:

 I tried yesterday to get the PE as we too got a letter. But they said that as weve already booked it for the return leg we couldnt get a discount!! Oh well, worth a try. Pity I didnt have enough funds to stretch to PE for the way out too!

Can't you phone up and cancel PE for the return leg then phone straight back and add on this offer? Try and get through to the UK call centre and not the Indian one though! I find it's always set in stone with the Indian lot, they don't really understand customer service.

Hmmmm, yep Ill give it a try. Now ive gotta rummage in the bin for the letter I threw away!!! :sunny:

We took advantage of this as well! Decided to do it for the return leg though, as the children couldnt sleep in the teeny economy seats last year...I have heard the PE ones are wider.

I was still dubious as I thought they charged full price for the kids, but when they said kids get 33% off each (with FV discount, 43% :teeth:, it became more viable!!). All 4 of us were upgraded for just over £500 which I thought was pretty good. I always said PE was too exensive at £275 each way, but would be tempted to to do it if it was nearer £100...they must have read my thoughts!
