Yes or no for Disney Quest?

We've been to disney a few times now and will hit Disneyquest for maybe a couple of hours in the evening but wouldn't spend an entire day there. If its crowded you can burn a lot of time waiting for a game to open up (teenagers would not often give up a machine after playing a few games) and it can be noisy and dark. It was ok but that's it. When I tell people about Disney, I never really think Disney quest. If it's included in your tickets go, I wouldn't pay extra for it though.

We (My parents, my sister and I, who are both teenagers) have gone there a couple of times and don't care too much for it. It is VERY noisy and had weirdish lighting that kinda bugged me. We went during busy times, so it was very crowded. It's basically just a big arcade (with the exception of a few cool virtual games), and we don't care to waste our time there anymore.

Disney Quest does not feel like Disney. At all. I think that is what annoyed me the most. When you are down at WDW, I wouldn't spend a lot of your precious time in an arcade. That's just me though. Maybe you should try it once to see if you like it. :confused3 :thumbsup2

I didn't like it at all. I didn't want to sit and take an art class on my vacation and I felt the Pirates attraction and Jungle Cruise attractions were just horrible. I also went on the Buzz Lightyear shooting bumper cars and when you get hit your car stops and spins around for a LONG time, I almost barfed. Other than that it has a bunch of arcade games, so if your looking to waste some time with those then maybe, but it just wasn't for me.

I hated every minute I spent there. Having said that DH and DD and DNiece love it. My theory is this if you like the hall of presidents skip this you are just too darn old.

When are "off" times for this place?

When no one else is there! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

No clue sorry. There are some really neat things here though. My favorite is the virtual Pirates!!!!! I love shooting the cannons!

DS loves DQ. I could live without it but I go for him.

I say go. We cannot visit anymore without a 4-5 hour stop at Disneyquest. The Pirates of the Carribean ride rules...

We have always gone mid-week on a beautiful hot and sunny day. There is almost no one in there then. It gets crazy busy after parks close and on rainy days, I hear.

I would say yes, but avoid the virtual reality light saber thing (you become a comic book character). Both the wife and I got out of that seeing double with headaches.

The other stuff is fun, and the raft ride is really quite a workout.
