Yes or no for Disney Quest?

If its your first time there, and you don't mind 3-D movies, then yes! DH and I had a blast. I mention about the 3d movies because something about my strange head configuration (DH says my eyes are too close to my head :rotfl: ) makes me not able to see 3d movies without a big headache. This doubles for the all the virtual reality games they have. But we had fun playing the virtual reality games (well, he did) and all the old arcade games. I had a lot of fun designing my own roller coaster, and then riding it! But make sure to go on an off time. Our second time going we spent a lot of time waiting in lines. There won't be a third time for us...it gets old.

Personally I love Quest........ we went with another family (4 adults, 4 kids) we were trying to beat each other on every game there and I will have to admit the girls did beat the boys at the Pirate Game!! If you really like to play games then yes.... OH I almost forgot.... love the drawing there also, you get to learn to draw with a CM That was fun also

If you like games etc. then YES! If you like to draw there is an art class. Very Cute! Lots of arcade games, build and ride your own coaster, Pirates, Jungle Cruise, life size pinball, etc.

DD8 got to make her own CD and label (with her name on the label). We all had a good time there 2 years ago.

We love it. We usually spend the entire day there ( sometimes into the night ).

My only problem is that after many hours I get a headache from looking at all the screens. Other than that we love it.

DH and I went to DisneyQuest for the first time last Wednesday and had a blast!! We ended up spending the whole day there. They have a room full of old school video games, pac man, donkey kong, mario bros, dig dug, centipede, asteroids and so on. My DH is not a big video game fan, so he spent alot of his time playing pinball. The Astroblaster bumper cars were cool, and the Cyber Space Mountain was awesome. You create your own roller coaster, then you get to ride it. Fortunately, for us, there were no crowds at all. We never had to wait for a game or ride. Have fun!!

DF and i always have a blast when we go there! it's a lot of fun! as long as you like video games! we love video games.

Cyberspace Mountain is good, the POTC ride is good, even some of the arcade games are enjoyable.

Go if you have time, but don't add it as a do-or-die item to your schedule. You could probably do it all in 2 or 3 hours, tops.

Having said that, it could be your only chances, as rumour has it it's closing down soon...

Went when hubby and I were 30 and 31 (in 2004) and had a wonderful time! We love games of all kinds, and this rocked. We went later at night, so it was quieter adn less kids, but I am sure I would enjoy it anytime so long as I didn't hav eto wait too long for anything I wanted to do.

I recommend it!

My DH and I love it. I would suggest wearing earplugs (the concert kind) if you are at all sensative to noise. It is very loud inside especially if it is crowded.

I didn't like it at all. I didn't want to sit and take an art class on my vacation and I felt the Pirates attraction and Jungle Cruise attractions were just horrible. I also went on the Buzz Lightyear shooting bumper cars and when you get hit your car stops and spins around for a LONG time, I almost barfed. Other than that it has a bunch of arcade games, so if your looking to waste some time with those then maybe, but it just wasn't for me.

DH and I went to Disney Quest one day on our last trip when it was raining...I was glad we did it once, but it's not something we will go back for...

Just a simple "NO" from us.
We are two thirty somethings and a teenager who all like arcade games etc. There is nothing groundbreaking. There are much better things to do with your time, ie anything else that comes into your head. Just our opinion. :sunny:

My husband and kids LOVED Disney Quest. I thought it was OK. I don't have anything bad to say about it, but the best part for me was seeing them have so much fun. Personally I was kind of 'eh?' about the whole thing. If we didn't return this year, it wouldn't dissappoint me. But I wouldn't complain about going, since I know DH, DD and DS are looking forward to it. :confused3

My 7 year old video game junkie fell in love with Disney Quest, and it was one of his favorite things in all of Disney.

If you enjoy motion simulators, 3-d movis, video games, ect then you should enjoy Disney Quest. This was included in our package so we went and while my husband loved it .... I don't have any desire to ever return. So it really depends on the person.

We went during the middle of the week and it was not crowded at all.

Doesn't hold our interest and way over priced for a quick visit. We get just as much enjoyment out of the gameroom at the CR. We did it once, that was enough, can't really justify dedicating a whole day to this.
