:furious: is more like it. I STILL don't have my W-2 from work! And no, its not because it was mailed on Monday. It wasn't mailed.

Yesterday, I was told they were having problems with the software they got to do them. I figured o.k., tomorrow with the paycheck for sure. Today, I was told there was a problem with MINE and that is what was holding them all up. Huh? Well, they have rearranged my hours so much, often for their needs but sometimes for mine, so much that they apparently aren't sure what I made??? :confused3 Don't you folks keep records of these sorts of things? Don't you pay quarterly taxes? (you know you could take a peek at those to figure it out). Don't you keep "books"? Don't you know that there are penalties for not "mailing" those W-2s on time?

Its a LAW FIRM. Honestly, they should know better. They DO know better. I am so mad. If I could have done my taxes by 11:00 this morning (all I needed to do was input those numbers) I would have gotten my refund next week.

Oh, they just tick me off right and left. I have two months til I get my week's vacation and I figure if I have survived this long, I can make it til then. After that it's buh-bye!

I believe you can still file your taxes with the info on your last pay check for
2005. I should have year end info check with your local tax person. Sorry your so unhappy at your job.

Unfortunately, no I can't. We get no paystubs with our checks. Just a check.

I am sorry I am unhappy at my job too. :badpc:

Oh, and let me clarify for those who haven't witnessed the previously posted rants about my employer, I don't want to quit just because of this, its that proverbial straw.

Due to deductions for healthcare and 401k my gross earnings on my final paystub for the year are different from the gross earnings on my W2. As for the PT work I did over the holidays, they paid biweekly and the last week of 2005 fell on the first paycheck of 2006. I can't compute how many hours I worked that final week.

Best wait for the W2. Employers are supposed to postmark them by 1/31. If you don't have them by (2/14?) you can contact the IRS.

I haven't received anything from SS yet (my DH received one check before he passed away) or the VA (for the widows pension).. Sittin' here twiddling my thumbs..

I would expect those are being mailed to you. This is an office I go into every day. And if they had said "oh, we mailed it to you" then that would be one thing but its like they don't know what they paid me.
