YT just doesn't come close though...Me too! darnGlad I have seen it several times and have the soundtrack..i suppose it will forever live on on You Tube...and BTW OP Fantasmic is different than in FL and so worth watching.

I honestly have never minded crowds too much (I've said this before). I only usually ever go during peak season so I'm used to 45-90 minute waits in lines and VERY crowded fireworks and F! shows. Not only that, call me crazy, but I love standing in a big crowd during an RDCT show, because I draw my energy from other people's excitement.
Here is my view. I grossly underestimated and took for granted what RDCT would be like. I saw it a few times in the mid 2000s or so, but never really saw it for what it is. Looking back, I would gladly stand with all the people in the world (well most

I know RDCT is one of the most expensive shows they do (it's like $20K + per show), so I understand the cutbacks, but nighttime fireworks and spectaculars have truly made DLR what it is. I hope that whatever they cook up this summer will be good and tasty (thought RDCT was hard to beat!) and that will bounce back with more ferocity than ever when this economy recovers.
