Yeah...it's being reported on our local websites too. I'm not surprised to hear this change but I must admit...I'm disappointed.

"Universal spokesman Tom Schroder says that as the park studies what happened, both coasters will operate without their usual intersection points."

Couldn't that mean that the coaster might go back to normal operation once the studies are finished? Or is there another report that says the change is permanent?

There today and ride has been down all day-they say maybe all night too. Seriously bummed as this was my only IOA Day. DC being down made FJ line 90+ minutes ALL DAY!!
This ride has been in operation for years so why the recent problems??

It happens every few years, a few random, freak accidents happen in different parks, all completely separate and completely different circumstances, but the media goes "ZOMG!! So Unsafe"..then the politicians get involved to make publicity for themselves...etc. etc.
