Sorry..but I have a confession....despite this being my third trip in a year and a a half and my extensive Disney research, I still think I'm missing an important piece of the FP puzzle.

I know how it works if I want to get FPs for each member of my party for a particular ride, but how do you get FPs for multiple rides? Last year I had FPs for Peter Pan and then tried to get them for Winnie the Pooh, but the machine wouldn't allow it because I had already had the Peter Pan FPs. So, what am I doing wrong?

Thanks!

Wait two hours (sometimes one) or until the FP window opens on your current FP, whichever is earlier. That's all it takes.

:confused3 We've never had a problem getting FP's for multiple rides at a time.

Can you give more details? The FP system is set up to force people to wait a set amount of time before getting a second FP.

On each FP, there's a times shown when you can get your next FP -- it's either the beginning of the time the current FP is for or 2 hours from when you got the first FP, whichever is sooner. So if you get an FP for Peter Pan at 10:30 am and the return time is 11:30 am, you can get your next FP at 11:30. But if your return time is 3:00, you can get your next FP at 12:30. If you're collecting FPs to use late in the day, just keep an eye on the times. You can't just walk around a park collecting FPs every 10 minutes (although that would be nice!).

You have to wait until the time mentioned on your other fastpass has elapsed. It shows the time at the bottom of the ticket.usually it is two hours..although if you get one right at rope drop it is less

Yes that would be nice or maybe even just having a FP APP for your phone....Just wishful thinking!:tink:

Getting FPs for multiple rides "at a time" is not possible, 99% of the time (unless you get some instant/bonus FP or something - for example, one of the FPs for the new MK meet & greets allows you to get another one immediately - think it's the FP for meeting Mickey).

HOLDING FPs for multiple rides at a time is possible and always has been, but you obtain them some amount of time apart from one another (generally 2 hours or less if the FP says it's less). Is that what you meant?

Sorry for the confusion. I guess I've just never tried to get them for other rides before it was time to know that getting them too early wasn't possible. Yes, I've held multiples at a time, so I guess that's what I was thinking. Thanks for the clarification. :goodvibes

... and occasionally, there are some "free" fastapasses--ones that do not count toward your limit. Usually, this is because of a malfunction, but from what I understand, the Micky & Minnie meet & greet in Main Street is a freebie.

The time another fastpass will be available is printed right on the fastpass. Just look at the fastpass and you will see it.

Based upon our experience during our trip in May, the Mickey/Minnie and princess meet & greets are connected to the rest of the FP system and affect the timing on getting future FP's. When we were there, Mickeys Philharmagic was a free bonus FP we received with our Winnie the Pooh FP's.

Can you get the FP for the princess after getting M&M?? I'm thinking you would have to wait for that one but not for the rides

When we were there in June, we were able to hold the Mickey Mouse FP as well as another one for a ride at the same time. The Princess FP was like having one for a ride....meaning you could not have that and one for Peter Pan (for ex). We asked the CM at the FP station and even tried it out.

We collect our FP early in the day and dont use them at their "time". That is how we can hold so many FP at one time. We go at rope drop and there are no lines for rides, but we always get a FP while at the ride to use for later....and get another one for a different ride when our window opens up.

Thank you for the very clear answer. Just what I was looking for. :goodvibes I knew you couldn't just "collect" them, but I did know you could hold them for more than one attraction at a time, depending on timing. So, again, thank you!
