Year of Million Dreams

Is there any rhyme or reason as to where the best places to be, times to be etc to get one of the Dreams prizes? Has anyone done a "survey" on this? I know we got the lanyards and pins at Turtle Talk (DCA) at about 10:30 but anyone else gotten items, know people that have gotten items etc? I saw somewhere that around 10:00-10:30 seemed to be a good time to go through the front gates . Also how does the upgrade to the Penthouse at the DRH work? Is that given at the park or am I just going to get REALLY lucky when I check in there next week and they put me in the Suite? Thanks

We got dream fast passes at around 10:30am on one of the walk ways around the castle. I know on the fast passes they give them out early ... they need to, even with fast passes it took us till almost closing to use them.

The penthouse is given out in the park, my guess is that is given out pretty early too. We were told that other prizes are given out at any time of the day. Hope that helps

Thanks helps a lot-seems 10-10:30 seems to be the time......although the Penthouse would be nice we really want the Fast Passes this time but if they forced the Penthouse on us we'd bite the bullet and take one for the team.....

We got the dreams fastpasses by the Golden Horseshoe next to the river at 11:00 on a Friday 2 weeks ago.

I was at WDW a week or so ago. A cast member gave me a pair of Mickey ears with the Year of a Million Dreams logo on the front at Blizzard Beach, right after going on Teamboat Springs.

the whole promotion. again... total rumor and the podcast (cant remember which one, but I only listen to the big respected ones) definitely said it was a rumor. They did elaborate in that they were wondering if that meant it wouldnt be extended at all, like disney often does with their promotions.
