Well, my postcards did not yield the much sought after TimeShare prize. But I did receive in the mail today the Silver & Blue Mickey Ears AND the Lanyard with Two Pins. :woohoo:
For me it was worth the $15 investment in the stamped postcard from the post office. On the front of each one I made the swirling Mickey ears and printed "Mickey, Pick Me!" And he did!

And my sweet DH didn't make fun of me when I called all excited about it. 'Course he was disappointed that it wasn't a free trip, but the good thing is he WAS disappointed. Might talk him into another trip after all.

As soon as DH comes home. He has a new Digital that takes way better pics. The detail on the pins is so neat, that I want to be sure they come out perfect.

My mailman thinks I'm crazy anyway, but me jumping around surely put me on the "watch out" list. :rotfl:

Did you just mail in postcards?? To this address? PO Box 8629, Elmhurst, IL 60126 USA

Yup, that's the one. Sent them about every other day for the first month, than once a week until just before Christmas.

Did you send postcards too?
Ooo, I just reread the official rules. I thought it was only until this past December. Now I have to go and get more postcards to keep sending out.

Not yet. So, of course, that is what I'm doing tonight!:rolleyes1 I had to reread the rules 3 times before my brain would read 2008!

haven't dis'ed in a while and I am officially lost...
do you have a link as to what you are talking about???

I stink at posting links. But if you go to Theme Parks Attractions Forum, there is a special "Year of a Million Dreams" thread that has more details about this.
Mousesavers dot com also has under their Freebies section the sweepstakes and there is a link there that has the officials rules.

Still waiting for DH to take pictures. He has been helping DS with his simple machine, so this is kinda down on the list of things to do.

Okay, lets see if I can get these links to work...
These are the pins...

This is the hat...

Yes, very soft and pliable is the lanyard.
I have both of them hanging up in my kitchen and my Mickey & Friends cookie jar on the table. Starting to look a lot like ... Disney, everywhere we go. Sorry, I won't sing anymore.

AWM--those lanyards and ears are the coolest!! I need to get some postcards. . .wonder if I can talk DH into going to the post office for me?? ;)

It is the best way to go. A postcard stamp costs $0.24 and the stamped postcard costs $0.26. Way cheap than buying a postcard anywhere else.

Post office for postcards--officially on the Things to Do list!! :thumbsup2

WooHoo!!:woohoo: :woohoo:

Another trip to the post office for a box from Walt Disney World.

We now that TWO sets of ears!!

I'd have been completely random in my sending since my first winnings. Maybe twice a week, if that.

So-start sending or keep on sending your postcards!!
